@wondermachinedc I used the Roger Quilter version. I am glad you finally tracked it down. I agree this is a lovely song. I sang this 5 years ago for a masterclass and I still find myself humming the tune every now and again.
I just posted a practice of me singing this same version of the song... I am going to contest on the 27th of this month.. I only HOPE I sing it as good as you did.. that was amazing...
this version is written by Roger Quilter in 1877. I love it so much more than the one from the movie : ) ! Awesome job with it too. I have a video of me perfoming it as well!!!

What's that weird background noise? It's like the cameraman is using one of those old dot matrix printers. I want a do over, without all the crappy noise interferring with the awesome singing. :(
Well done. I would have enjoyed the John Dowland version better though. I hate these other versions with a passion.
