I am also a UK student and I was offered the chance to take part in a psychology test with the incentive of £10 for 1/2 an hours work. which being a poor student I decided to do it, so I looked up the slots available and checked my time table having chosen one which was suitable I clicked to sine up but the automates system told me that this slot was no longer available, I then tried another but with the same result so I began to think:
