  • Soi can do back drop backflips sexy but when i try an actual backflip i do it but i like do a 180 mid way through and cant stop and does tucking and throwing your arms help. Alsois it better to look back

SOMEONE PLEASE REPLY AND HELP ME!!!

  • @1sk8erTristan1 Having two spotters will definitely help. Tucking might help, but that won't be a for sure fix. If you have two spotters either holding your hands or making an arm bar behind your back (I suggest holding hands), then it will discourage you from turning. It's not better to look back, although it's hard to avoid looking back.

  • This mad me do a frontfilp ye man

  • i'm too scared to go directly backwards so i do them to the side :/

  • You guys really helped me !! Thanks

  • Hey please check out our channel

  • Thumbs up if u learnt frontflips b4 backflips

  • @bullzeyechampion15 haha yer :)

  • @Mutsrqde At the end of the video, we demonstrated that someone you know can spot you while you try the flip. If the techniques we showed at the end of the video are still too scary, you can have the two people grab your hands and lift you as you flip around. That way you can't get hurt unless your friends drop you. So make sure you have strong, reliable friends.

  • How long does it usually take to get it

  • @butterbean8888 It varies wildly. Some people get it instantly, but it might take a week or a month or more for others to fully feel comfortable with it.

  • @alaskyprod yer so get over it he's probz better than you anyway

  • It's just I'm level ten ( highest level) at british gymnastics trampolining and I've been taught that way. It might be easier your way but mines the 'proper'.

  • Do a backdrop normally but have your legs closer to your head so it caries you over. If you don't rotate enough then try doing a jump back in to it. This will give you more memento.

  • @alsykprod Sorry man but you've got it wrong. The point of a backdrop flip (at least for this video) is to get you used to the tucking motion that flips you around in a backflip. James (the guy in the blue) describes it perfectly. If you "do a backdrop normally" like you're saying, there's a much higher chance you'll end up on your face. Hollowing your back like he does (and like you do in an actual back tuck) helps with the rotation.

  • @alsykprod Also (continuing from my other comment), jumping backward into it may give you more momentum to help you get over, but won't help you tuck better. It makes you less reliant on the power of your tuck (not a good thing), so it will be harder to understand how pulling your knees in/up makes you flip faster.

  • Its called a backdrop back pull over and the way you showed it is really bad

  • @alsykprod What is the proper way to do it then?

  • Helped a lot! Thanks.

  • quite nic!

  • dude i need help here. For some reason, a couple weeks after i started backflipping i could land them perfectly where i landed and now im having troubles because im going backwards when i do a backflip. Any help?

  • @RojasGotSwagger I could give much more specific advice if I saw a video of you doing it, but a lot of people have this problem, so in the description of the video I posted a few tips that should help.

  • @RojasGotSwagger jump strait up or if that didnt work try jummping back a little and then try jumping up

  • i just dont want do brake my body in to pieces

  • You are so noob in backflip everyone do it on tramp try in ground loser

  • Guys just remember, there is absolutely no way you can land on your head unless you want yourself to. If you jump, and tuck. Landing on your head is out of the question.

I can do them on flat ground now, and even if I fail, I can't land on my head, I always just land and have to put my hands in front of me so I don't fall over..

Just go for it, or you'll never conquer that fear. Anyone can do it. :D

  • @MeStewieGriffin Hey man, no offense, but you're giving people a false sense of security. I've seen people land on their head. Even though it's not that bad because the trampoline bed is soft, it's still not fun. The sickening, disorienting effect it produces could easily discourage someone from trying to do the flip again. Sure, almost anyone can do a backflip, but please be careful when you're trying it.

  • @Jesusdragon737 If you land on your head you fail miserably. It would be like jumping backwards, not tucking..and doing a backhandspring with your face rather than your hands.

Point made, if you have the intelligence of a chimp, don't try it. If you have the intelligence of a human. Go for it, but use form and tuck. >_> <_<

  • this guy is epic

  • @Jesusdragon737

Thanks, I just brought one of the same size :D

  • Does anyone know how big this trampoline is? I'm going to purchase one and I just want to get an idea of the sizes..

  • @wnwnwNN It's 15 feet in diameter.

  • plz help i really want to learn but im even to scared to spot i can backroll and when i tried to backdrop flip the other day to get over the fear i landed on my head but luckily didnt hurt myself what did i do wrong or any tips thanks.

  • @TheSkyBlueNinja My response is going to be kinda long, so I'll send you a message.

  • get a mate to spot you....thats all

  • thank you i can a backflip now

    XD thanks

  • will you be able to check out my video on youtube of me on the trampoline and see if i do things correctly :) and when i get my new 14ft trampoline i will be sure to try this out ... i get scared and end up landing on my back but the spotter thing i think will help me a lot thankyou :D

  • @xxcharrisxx Sure, I'll look it over if you send it to me.

  • easy

  • "Explosion" haha that made me laugh, it was silly.

  • sweet vid

  • keep on pressing 6 for something funny

  • press 6 for something funny

  • @jugalicious123 Probably not, I can frontflip on a trampoline without jumping but i cant frontflip on flat ground.

  • i can do front flip but too scared to try backflip lol

  • @xPINKTigersx Easier: back tuck. Less scary initially: front flip.

  • my trampolines that that bouncy so im terrafied to try {:(

  • its dangerous but i can do that :)

  • Okay....So My Brother Kyle Can Do A Backflip On The Trampoline But He Doesnt Tuck so It really Doesnt Help Me When He Explains it. So When Im Jumping Im All Ready To Do The Flip Then I Think " What If I Break My Neck? Or Sprain A Shoulder?" How Do ou Think I Can Avoid Those kind Of hings??

  • @CheerInfinityMLN It definitely helps if people are spotting you. Your spotters are there basically to flip you over and/or catch you if you're about to fall on your head. Other than that, maybe try putting cushions or thick blankets on the trampoline to prevent hurting yourself if you mess up. Although, cushions can get in the way and could mess you up worse than if they weren't there. My advice: get a spotter or two and commit to it. The first backflip you do is always the hardest.

  • Whoever Was Wearing The Blue Shirt was Very Cute........Just Sayin....

  • k ill make a vid respons

  • is that 10 ft cus i gotta 8ft can i do it on there?

  • @batlefront2guy This one's actually 15 ft, but that doesn't make a difference. Just be more careful to avoid falling off.

  • For people who can already do a back handspring the way I learned was by do a high backhandspring so your hands batrley touch the trampoline and then eventually just don't use your hands it worked!! That's how I learned

  • thx guys I can do proper backflips now!! :)

  • thumbs up if you saw the justin bieber flick at 2:17!

  • @greek48206 Have you tried it with spotters yet? They are very helpful. It also might be that you're tucking your knees in wrong. Don't just try to pull them to your chest. Drive your knees up as hard as you can, trying to pull them over your head. Seriously though, spotters are the best way to learn it.

  • I CAN DO A BACKFLIP NOW THXS GUYS IT HELPED ALOT HAHA :)

  • Is it just me or is this trampoline bouncier than mine

  • *HELP!!!* I try to do it but im just hitting my head and not going through!? :((

  • @sexybeastintraining What exactly do you mean by you're hitting your head and not going through? Could you explain a bit more?

  • @Jesusdragon737 when youre going back, i cant flip, like i cant do the flip, i jump and go back but im not even flipping im basically landing on my back pretty much

  • @sexybeastintraining Someone else had a very similar problem. Have you tried it with spotters yet? They are very helpful. It also might be that you're tucking your knees in wrong. Don't just try to pull them to your chest. Drive your knees up as hard as you can, trying to pull them over your head. Seriously though, spotters are the best way to learn it.

  • Thx! Thsi really helped me do the trick! :)

  • i can land on my back first then do the backflip, but im scared if i do it off my feet im gunna break my neck or somethin...help!?

  • @ILoveMe102312 That's why spotters are the most useful thing when you're trying to learn a backflip. They basically hold you up so it's very unlikely you will land on your head. If you don't have anyone that's willing to spot you, that makes it way harder. You could maybe try to soften the trampoline bed by putting cushions down, but that could easily just mess you up as you're jumping and flipping. :/

  • @ILoveMe102312 same here!!! how annoying!!

  • is it just me or does he sound like screech from saved by the bell?

  • Good Now Do A Barrel Roll

  • im scared if i land on my head or neck !

  • @xch251298x i was to but follow this and you probably wont unless u dont commit

  • I don't think frontflip is harder than backflip. I can do frontflip easily. But not backflip yet. I guess the easiest is the one you handle to do first. Fear is the biggest problem.

  • @iHackZz055 i thought the same thing, but when i learned backflips they are sooo much easier

  • @imawesome722 sounds good, cos frontflip is like SO easy now :P

  • @iHackZz055 but now backflips are easier for me

  • when i do it, i land more on he side of the trampoline and not like straight but more on the side? help!

  • @JonnaDoesShuffle Hmm... You might simply be pulling up harder with one arm than the other, or it could relate to fear, which would make it harder to fix. If it's the first case, just work on putting the same power to both sides of your body. Without seeing your flip, it's impossible to say, but if you find yourself turning your head to the side while flipping, it's probably because of fear. Then you would need to work on looking straight ahead while flipping to avoid rotating off axis.

  • @Jesusdragon737 thx.. i failed my back flip at my friends place and was scared to do again, but i learned it again so now its straight. :D

  • @JonnaDoesShuffle your trying to flip to early, try using your head to flip, just and as you are about to get to the top of your jump. lean back, throw your head back and crouch, if you wait a while after you've bounced before you flip, it stops you moving about the trampoline during the flip

  • @XshowbizzcodgamerX backflip is easier than frontflip i think :) i finally overcomed my fear

  • Hello, I can backflip but I have a really annoying problem: I usually end up more forward than where I started. For example, if I start off in the middle, I'll usually end up backflipping and almost hitting my face on the net when I land because I sort of go forward. How can I fix this?

  • @OdyOwnz Check out tip #3 in the description ;)

  • Uhhh, I can 180 backflip but can't do it normal? Help?

  • @wenstynemusic I would say that's mostly a fear issue, that you're still slightly afraid of flipping straight over your head, so you subconsciously rotate to make sure your're not going to land on your face. Probably the best way to fix this is to get 2 people to spot you, but other than that, I would practice the backdrop flipover, and look into learning a backhandspring from another tutorial. These things should help you stay lined up.

  • @Jesusdragon737 Thank you! I can already do the backdrop thing so I think i will get my friends to spot me. Thank youuu

  • that blonde haired fucker at the end look like the biggest retard i have ever seen in my life hahahahaahahahahahah yeah i did one

  • @XshowbizzcodgamerX Backflipping is way easier, but if you learn them both they become relatively the same.. My advice, get 2 friends to spot you. Let them pick you up and flip you backwards.. that will get you ready for the flip. Then try it, let them help you through it and don't bail.. if you need more help with like the fear issue.. get a bunch of pillows, put them behind you and you will land on them if you fall. :) GL

  • i can't even take a frontflip, :s so i don't dare this :p

  • @piamorah The fact is.. backflip is actually easier than frontflip.

  • how old where you the first time you took a backflip?

  • @mybox1991 About 7 years old i think, but people can really learn it at any age.

  • @DaBros121 Yeah you can do it with one person... But that person should be strong and have an idea of what they're doing. I showed it at the end of the video. Have the one spotter put their dominant hand on your lower back or even grab the belt loop at the back of your pants. Then, as you jump up have them lift up and press into your back with that hand as they use their other hand to grab under your legs and flip you around when you tuck.

  • Actually you should't try to do your first backflip tucked. It should just be a messy fast backflip over your head. Tucking isn't something you should do the first time.

  • whenever i try to do it i land on my head/neck! what do i doo?

  • @coltemmet252 You need to get spotters. At the end of the video we demonstrate how two spotters linking their arms behind you can help you with the backflip. If you're just learning and having trouble, I highly recommend this method.

  • can you make a tutoriol on how to do one on groung i can do one without jumpig on the tramp and i can almost doubl with 1 bounce what do you think

    plz reply

  • @Swimhottie194 There are plenty of good tutorials for doing backflips on the ground on youtube already, so I won't be making one. If you just type in "backflip tutorial," the top one has almost 3 million views for a reason.

  • WTF someone looked at the trampolin it looks like he lands on the ground

    my trampolin isn't so elastic

    sry for bad englisch xD

  • You make it seem so easy me and some of my friends tried it and could never get over our fear.

  • does the technique make u flip?

  • nice tutorial :) i have a vid of my FIRST backflip! didnt learn it this way tho:S i have a RLY good way of overcoming fear! none of the other worked! as you can see i landed by first backflip... took me 5-10mins to learn :) rly easy method! i think ima make a video on how i learned it :)

  • i can do it without jumping lol does this mean i can do it on ground?

  • @jugalicious123 Ummmm no. It means you're on your way, but the trampoline still gives you a bunch of height even when you're not bouncing.

  • @jugalicious123 if u can do it from the metle bar around the tramp u can do it on the ground

  • @jugalicious123 not really u need more height for flat

  • Thanks man, i just got to conquer my fear. You guys are the first helpful video i've found. Just hope I don't get struck by lighting, it's storming out.

  • nice its really helpful :D

  • any tips on my double back? /watch?v=MIJBderatUg

  • i alltime land on the head with the foods in the heaven

  • when i go to do it i hesitate and twist in the air and land on my bum but the other way like a front flip what can i do ?

  • @The18stoke So what you're actually doing is an arabian (180 backflip). I would say that's mostly a fear issue, that you're still slightly afraid of flipping straight over your head, so you subconsciously rotate to make sure your're not going to land on your face. Probably the best way to fix this is to get 2 people to spot you, but other than that, I would practice the backdrop flipover, and look into learning a backhandspring from another tutorial. These things should help you stay lined up.

  • @The18stoke The first couple of times i did the EXACT same thing you did. When i finally got the backflip down, i was able to do it no problem. The next day i attempted to land an arabian and I couldnt do it, so i decided to attempt a backflip. While i atempted to do a backflip, my body was already used to twisting in mid air (arabian). Now i I'm afraid to do a backflip. I was just outside trying to do one, i'm getting the same feeling i had when i was starting to learn...

  • Hey just watched this video then tried the backflip. Bit of over rotation on the first one but landed every one after pretty nicely. Thanks a lot for posting this!

  • when ever i do a backflip i always land so far back from where i started. how can i fix that?

  • @MrMaxattacks21 Check out #2 in the description ;)

  • fucking shit i can triple backflip and i dont do any of that bullshit like this if ya feel the same

  • would mine be considered a back tuck or back flip? go to my channel!!

  • Backflip 1:48

  • terrible tutorial the form is completley wrong you are going to get people hurt

  • @cyancey1030 Please if you're going to criticize the video, be specific. What exactly is wrong about my form?

  • @Jesusdragon737

you dont start with your knees bent and arms in front.

start standing upright. with your arms out to the sides in a cross formation or at your sides.

you begin the squat before swinging your arms, this builds pressure in the trampoline.

your arms need to swing through at your lowest point in the squat and be fully extended above your head and past your ears before pushing out of the squat.

btw your retarded friend in the blue shirt means hollow out your back not arch it.

  • @cyancey1030 Ok, you're right that you should be standing at the beginning, and I demonstrate that later in the video, but all the other stuff you're talking about doesn't really matter. You can start with your arms to the side if you want. It doesn't really make a difference if they start in front. You're also going into a lot of detail that is unnecessary in such a basic tutorial. Also, I would appreciate if you didn't insult my friend. Most people don't know what it means to hollow your back.

  • you could set even more. just sayin

  • Very nice, thank You.

  • I've tried backflips and always land on my head... sprained my neck and my back 3 times :(

  • When I attempt a backflip, I sorta flip diagonally. How do i stop this?

  • @Shreddex101 It's hard to say exactly what to fix without seeing your backflip, but a reason some people flip diagonally is because they are turning their head and looking back for the ground. If you turn your head to the side in the middle trying to see where the ground is there's a good chance you'll end up spinning off axis. Try to look straight forward the whole time. If this doesn't fix it, message me and I'll try to help some more.

  • @Jesusdragon737 i learned to do them, but cant anymore. some days i do them and some i dont. and i learned them without tucking, i dont need to tuck, but i still cant do them often.

  • @Shreddex101 That's common. Just keep practicing and it'll feel easier and more natural the more you do it.

  • yeah i tried this trick and then i fucking died

  • once i was doin a front flip and did not land it and then my 8year old friend landed it and im 10 and i cant

  • great video guys 10/10

  • i learned by myself on first tryy : D

  • Nice :)

  • gz!

  • but i dont mean at thats crap tutorial... this is good!

  • every one dosent need tuck... i do my firs backflip whitout it

  • Please answer me , I really want to get that trampoline , but i live in Europe , Croatia more exactly and E-bay and Amazon com don't ship to where I am located. So I was wondering if you could tell me is there another web site where I can buy trampolines.

    Thanks in advance

  • @MrPredatorix I've really got no clue here. I just searched online and found jumpking.eu, but they don't have any distributors in Croatia. They have one in Poland that might ship to where you're located.

  • Please help. Whenever I try the backflip I keep pussying out and landing on my back. How can I stop chickening out without any spotters or any of that.

  • @FingerBoardBMXer I always default to saying that having spotters is the best way to start learning it... because it is. However, if you really don't have anyone to spot you, maybe try learning a back handspring first? It might be less scary because you put your hands on the ground in the middle. Other than that, maybe try it off a diving board? A foam pit is also a great way to go, but if you don't have someone to spot you, you probably don't have access to one of those either.

  • I did my backflip in a safe environment and also at my own risk.

  • this was the best vidieo i could find i recommend it to any body

  • i watched millions of tutorials and it took me 2 days of 24/7 training :DD

  • @Wilhis97 Check out #2 in the description ;)

  • ..you will be able to avoid this problem.

One last thing,if anyone is still having problem doing the backflip and don't have a spotter, you can use Bungee Trampoline, just make sure to adjust the elastics so that when you fall the harness is only a few cms away from the trampoline, that way you won't hit the trampoline when you fall and even if you hit it, it will be very light and won't cause any problems.

That's it...Thanks guys for such a great tutorial!

  • @xxdanparkerxx

It's very obvious that you've never heard the word gymnastics before, this tutorial is one of the best on the Internet and all the instructions are correct (including Tuck) and it really helped me starting backflips,i think the only missing part is that it didn't mention not to look backwards when starting to jump (a lot of beginners are doing this mistake including me) as this will result to a rotation from the shoulders not from the waist..although,if you apply the instructions..

  • i don't come more than my back! i do not come with my legs. some tips?

  • @TwInTipTrIcK Sorry for not responding earlier. What you really need to do to rotate all the way past your back and head is to pull your knees up in the tuck so it seems like they're going to go over your head.

  • your trampoline is amazing, mine is wank.

  • good tut but ill still shit myself

  • I always end up launching too far back and landing nearly off the tramp. Any sugestions?

  • @xxdanparkerxx What are you talking about? I teach gymnastics on a basic level, and I've learned this exact form from multiple professional gymnastics coaches. If you're talking about something as trivial as pointing my toes, then sure, I'm not teaching it exactly perfectly, but stuff like that doesn't matter if you're just trying to learn the skill.

  • @xxdanparkerxx I dont know man but im not looking at this because of Gymnasticks and have u ever heard of Parkour? Free run?

  • @PraPraNigga Yeah I guess that's true. lol I really can't see anything when I'm flipping around either. It's a lot more about timing.

  • I had my backflip before perfectly and after about 4 months of the winter i got back on the tramp and i couldnt do it.....i don't get why..any tips?

  • @FrannyBananas123 Just Train again :D !

  • @FrannyBananas123 i get that too but its just because you havent done it for a while and youre body isnt used to going it anymore. just try doing it over and over again and you should start getting the hang of it. thats what i do:)

  • @FrannyBananas123 That happens to a lot of people, but not really for any specific reason. I think it helps to practice a skill over and over again after you get it to keep it in muscle memory, but if you don't, you could forget how to do the skill. If you can't do it anymore, you're probably going to have to re-learn it. It helps that you used to be able to do it, so the process will go a lot faster.

  • @Jesusdragon737 Thanks for the advice! I guess I will just have to re-teach myself, i'll get the feeling back eventually:)

  • Do u think I can do won cause I can do one in to the water

  • @reuprodrift Yeah probably. Doing a backflip off a diving board is a lot like doing one on a trampoline.

  • I used to be able to then I got hurt now I'm scared of going straight back I can go side ways but not straight it pisses me off plus I jump forward so I shoot like 6 feet back I'm so mad cause I could do it perfectly

  • thanks soo much for this! helped a lot.

  • I am thirteen many flips. Here are some tips I have for the backflip.

1.Remember the backflip is easy, but the fear is the hardest part.

2.Try this.Do a backslam many times. Then do a backslam and in mid air tuck your arms and legs in.This is the motion of a backflip.

3.Get this in your head. The worst that will happen is you wont land it on your feet.

4.Go as high as you can and do the motion of a backslam only much harder then tuck in in mid air.(try not to mocve backwards in position)

    Gl :D

  • i cant wait to try this thnx!!!

  • its not really hard, i just screw up cuz i get scared right before leaning backwards kinda......

  • after i watched this video i went to my backyard to try a backflip and my trampoline was on fire -_-

  • @dagmarskiing That, my friend, made my day! and really really sucks for you
