@NGAGUNZ at 7mins and 42secs I am the red haired girl that is wearing latex gloves. Why am I wearing them? I went into the gas chamber with second degree burns even though I didn't have to. Anyway to the "why do girls go into the gas chambers they dont even go into combat" That is far from the truth. I was a gunner in my team for my 15 month tour in AL Basrah IRQ. We would convoy, walking patrol and pull guard. We didnt live on a nice cushy FOB for most of tht, we lived out in their city.

@otvob ok picture this, as soon as you come onto the chamber your say to your self this isnt that bad then they close the doors. You feel a gradual sting on all exposed skin and it gets worse and worse without stopping until you are numb with pain. Then you are instructed to remove your mask and take a breath. Then the shitty part starts you feel like you are smoking 100 of the harshest cigarettes that you can think of. As soon as you take a deep breath then the coughing starts

@unclerukus2 you dont "get used" to the gas after one time through the gas chamber. trust me, you dont just get immune to that shit after one time. The purpose of this training is so you actually recognize what it feels like to be gassed so in case you ever do come across it in battle, you will be able to identify it and take action. it also teaches you that your gas mask does work so you have faith in it and know how to properly clear and seal it under pressure.

Man this reminds me of RTC great lakes. We had to do the EXACT same thing. Except for the people spitting part. We wouldn't be caught dead by FFTU spitting on the deck, or else they would throw paper towels on the ground and tell you to scrub it off with no mask on. CS gas is only so bad as long as you're in there. The minute you get out of there you start to clear up pretty quickly. You get a sinking feeling when you hear those CS tablets hitting the hot plate lol.

Here is a tip. Notice how it started mello and finished easy. Go first or last when a CS tab is burnt not when a few of them have been burned off. That stuff adds up. I think they ran out at the end, and the chamber was aired out.

If a NBC attack happens to break out you will know that your pro mask or gas mask will protect and keep you alive, I thought i was going to suffocate in there but once you walk outside in the fresh air it leaves you system in secs but don't rub you eyes! or you going have painful red eyes.
