hah, i appreciate that. that's what I believe I am called to do actually: pastor. right now I'm a college pastor, working on that style =).
i do believe that they are alive and well today. however, i also believe that they are sadly, the majority of the time, abused/falsified/conjured/misrepresented/etc. these days.
i think you're just the kind of pastor that's needed! we all need some remedial education of the plain facts, you know, the stuff that matters! at least with all this i'm learning alot about what i should've known by now, it's fascinating, everything's right there in the Bible. there are a lot of examples of what not to do out there, and lately everything i look up ~ it just all falls into place, things are not that hard to find, and the internet is actually turning out to be a good resource!
