Yogscast, please dont say the HoN is the best MOBA out there. Yes, I play LoL but i dont say that it's better than HoN. Each game has different meta-games. LoL is somewhat slower and the summoner leveling sistem lets you learn properly the game by playing against equally skilled players. HoN has a very active scene on the other hand is very thrilling and just as fun. All i can say, great job both companies for these great games. (sry for the long comment)

I think recording characters for free is not as horrible as it might seem. Getting positive exposure can only help build your foundation (the Yogscast), which can lead to more opportunities that will grow to money gigs as your popularity builds. And let's face it... Voicing a toon isn't exactly like mining asbestos for a living. =D

HoN has around 12 million registrations and approx. 50,000 players online every moment. And most if not all game critics have given LoL a better ranking than HoN. More people like LoL than HoN, so Riot must've done something right that S2 failed at.

@1a2b3c4d5e2427 Depend how you see it, but YES regarding "stats" Riot has done it better (marketing, business model, etc.), but regarding to the pure game it self, HoN is by miles better (engine, etc.)...I would really welcome to Open Source the engine for example if they go down the drain or something, as Simon & Lewis sad it's still the best out there regarding those facts. I think most impartial players will agree with this. Ofc, Dota 2 can beat them all (potencial is there).
