Oh my gosh I use my diabetes for the same thing! "Mom, I can't take out the trash. I'm low." Haha, it never works on her though. And all my friends are always joking and saying that everything I do, from tripping to the shoes I wear, is because I'm a diabetic. Geez, always picking on the diabetics. Haha, but it's all in fun!
