Gday from Darwin Australia. Southern Cross Darwin sells these as a "Monsoon Tractor Sprinkler". Gun Metal Grey rather than the John Deere Colouring. The cast body is quite heavy so sits very well on the ground. $130.00 each. Great little unit and good value for money!
Sprinklers.iFind2.com Installed my sprinklers for $1399 Front & Back yard. You can also get the eBook how to do it yourself from Home Depot or Lowe's at: Sprinklers.iFind2.com
Not if you get a good quality one. We had one growing up and it rarely ever jumped the hose (my dad still has it - and it still works, despite being older than me). I bought a cheaper one, and it did jump the hose, then I spent a little more money on a better one, and it's worked great since.
I sort of figured these wouldnt be unknown to alot of people.Just figured I am not the only one who hasn't seen this yet.Like agood joke it may have been around for a long time but if it's the first time you have heard it it's still funny.would love to hear how it has worked for you over these many years.-Bob
Bob, Don't get me wrong. Wasn't trying to be critical or sarcastic. I actually Use 3 at a time, and they cover my entire yard. And!! Because they are cast Iron..they last a loooong time. Just remember to keep em painted!! :-) Keep up the good work and GREAT VIDEOS!!!

Well, you must be a youngster if you haven't seen one of these. They were very common in the 60's before everyone got built in sprinklers.

They work fine. They only fall off the hose if it is pulling too much hose. Pull the hose up occasionally to get rid of the slack and it works fine.

I hurd these things are very cheaply made and a lot of times they will flip over or off of the hose.

I will have to defer to the people here who actually use them+++Bob
