Is all porn bad? No, there are good companies out there that test all actors and actresses before. Being an actor/actress doesn't make you lost or disgusting, nor does it make people who watch it bad. But it is completely undeniable that the porn industry can and is dangerous. Instead of calling people who watch it terrible and so forth, it would be more productive not to fight against porn, but to fight to make porn safer for the actors, and more importantly, the actresses.

The sad thing is, if they do indeed bring their case to a court of law, the judge may likely view them as less than human simply because of their job & tell them the same thing some of the brainless comments have said: "You should have known the risks."

Also - the blame for abuse always seems to put on the woman who put themselves in a situation yet the finger is never pointed to the people who are doing the abuse. Abusers need to be held accountable - not victims.

Workplace safety is mandatory for all industries.Not just some. It is the same if you went to work in the service industry. You would want there to be safety precautions. The argument that these women chose to be in the industry can be made equally for all industries that exist out there. In America, people don't want to talk about the sex industry because it a taboo subject.

So basically she chose to be in the industry. No one made her. She made that choice and is pissed off she got spit on or w/e. They dont just blindly walk onto a set not knowing what type of scene she will be shooting. Wtf does she think hardcore mean, flowers and romance? Shehas to sign a contract. Her decisions. wow people, enough with the "whore" comments... what she's saying is right. whether you agree or not with what porn is, fact of the matter is it exists legally, it needs to comply with laws regarding safety in the work place. Yes, women (or men) working in hardcore porn know what they are portraying, but if they feel uncomfortable or in pain, since they are legal workers, their needs should be accommodated.
