I remember this song was a MASSIVE hit in northern california when this came out. Tori Amos was already a big hit, then BT came in a revolutionized the rave/techno scene. I love this song...I must have four different versions of it.
some songs and music don't need a date. They are timeless. This is one of those songs! This made my effin day! ALWAYS loved this mix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@AgentAragorn Not exactly true. "Embracing the Future" and "Loving You More" were. Embracing the Future was independently released in 1994 (before being re-released on Perfecto) and Loving You More was 1995. In fact, the whole UK Ima album was 94-95 material.
1996 saw the North American Ima release with Blue Skies as the forefront single. This is probably why it sounds a little different than the rest of the album, as he had new tech and was beginning to experiment with different genres.
BT is a revolutionary __ long live BT!!!!!! he helped create what is known as the modern tech movement. if you don"t know what he's about__you don"t know music.
BT, you're my favorite all-time high-=energy Electronic Band. Even your Ambient is great, but you keep me going on my bike for sure, without fail. Thanks guys!
By far and away my all time favorite BT!!! Electronic at it's finest! BT stole my electronic heart when I heard this on for the very first time....amazing.

If I'm not wrong... BT stated one time that Tori Amos provided 15 minutes of ininterrupted vocals... which gave him enough material to do dozens of versions of the song.
to much meth to many nights ..to many days....they are all blending together...i lost my self in the blue sky...BT FTW BITCHES!

Meh, definitely not BT's best work. I was hoping for some melodic SOMETHING...just not my thing I guess. Didn't dislike but didn't like either.
