  • I like how they showed how it does it's job.

  • my gido (ukrainian grandpa) used to shoot mines from the bow of his destroyer with a .303 in WW2. I don't know about you but the nickle for a .303 bullet and my gido using it to me is way more trustworthy than a robot haha.

  • Unfortunately it's not able to remove annoying commercials.

  • top speed 5 knots?? thats wayy to slow... 1.15mph=1 knot

  • 3 stars for firepower...

  • what a wast of money!

  • @CasesAndMaterials why? a ship is millions of dollars

  • @16patie Cause it is cheaper to just detonate them.

  • @CasesAndMaterials but those things are sometimes in ports and close to mainland. also the talisman search those things

  • @CasesAndMaterials But it just got a whole lot more expensive because they developed a system that weight as much as my rig.

  • I don't see how it has firepower?

  • that sounds like a very fun engineering project

  • But they havn´t really solved the main problem with mines, the time it takes to clear them...

  • What ship is that on1:04? Looks like the Korean KDX-II.

  • how does it disarm the mine? Does it just crash into it and somehow not die so it can live to do it again?

  • 5 on stealth? buy i could see it whit my eyes?

  • I wonder if you poke it?

  • i thought the name was the trashman

  • i bet that later in war there will be only machines no human on the front lines

  • uuuuum, skynet loves it!

  • it sure wasnt my favorite

  • Come on, I wanna see the mines explode. Do not disarm it... XD

If a fly lands on the mine... KABOOOOM!

  • lol if i remeber didn't they train dolphins to disarm the mines before?

  • this couldn't ever hope to compete with a minesweeper ship

  • Or put detection systems on the ship.

  • G-i Jooooooooeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Just looked up and they had USS Krishna and Indra during second world war.

  • HOW THE HELL DOES THE U.S MILITARY AVE A WARSHIP HAVING THE NAME KRISHNA ??? DAYUMM DATS SO WIERD??

  • @REXXBAILEY Kinda strange.. India's version of Jesus.. U.S.S. JESUS, anyone?

  • I don't think its a very smart idea to have an asian man crazily driving a motorcycle in a workplace for a BEER commercial....seriously...

  • What if it accidentally tries to disarm a dolphin or something?

  • @rvngizswt xD

  • what a waste of resources. I'd just shoot at the damn mine.

  • @vk45de you would have to first find the mine

  • Hate to say it but the pen/pencil story is a myth, you cant use pencils in space because the pencil shavings/broken leads would float around & get into vital systems, not to mention astronaughts lungs. A normal pen works just fine in space

  • @nocluedealer not really...

normal pens need gravity to work to make the ink go down to the tip.

in space you might get the pen to work for 10 or 20 letters and then it will stop since no more ink goes down to the tip

pencil shavings can be reduced by just using a pencil sharpener thats in a little bag (dunno exacly how they are called but i have seen them) and i am pretty sure that a broken lead is just as dangerous as any other kind of debris and you can obviously pick it up.

  • This shows a little bit the difference between the american and the rest of the world´s ways of thinking...... some time ago.... during the space race, the us astronauts were equipped with a specialy designed ink pen that worked in space.... its research and development costed LOADS of thousands of dollars..... the soviet cosmonauts were given PENCILS instead.

  • @juanecheyt thats a carlos mencia joke

  • @patchesSD Ok,didnt know but may be........ but suits the subject.

  • @juanecheyt yah i was just telling u so u can go watch it its funny joke

  • @juanecheyt well my guess would be that since it's data, using pen is ideal as it is permanent and can't be removed as a means to modify data whereas with a pencil, you can easily erase and twist the data.

  • The nazis put dozens of mines around my country and the british sea rout

We need to get one of those

    daim nazis

  • millitary channel educates the enemy!

  • @JFMarcos206 i think its more likely to scare the shit out of them

  • Scary .... imagine a aircraft carrier with no aircraft but those to seek and destroy or do stupid stunt like drag the mine to the enemy ship and blow them up.

  • Why disarm it? Just make it go "Ka-boom"

  • @anton2maa my first thought^^

  • @Arishava

    IDEM

  • @anton2maa Sometimes you don't want to alert the enemy :P .

  • @anton2maa Imagine more than one mine boss... Continuous "ka-booms"= tidal waves...

  • @anton2maa why make it go "KA-BOOM" when you can make your enemie go ka-boom whit it

  • @anton2maa because then you waste several thousand dollars on one mine. you'd need to carry lots of these.

if you bliow it up you risk injuring people and also remember that the fish in the water are extremely sensitive to pressure in the water and can kill a lot of them. its a lot better to just disarm it

  • @anton2maa cause if let the mine go Kaboom, greenpeace would say that could destroy sea life. If let the mine disarmed, military doctor keeps sending people back to the state in body bag. So they create this thing.... robotic warrior. So if it failed and explode, at least no people were harmed. Cost? Out of the question XD

  • @anton2maa pollution...

  • @anton2maa you don't want to let the enemy know that his mine is not working any more by making it go "Ka-boom".

  • @anton2maa I assume that 1 year ago, when you made this comment, the USA still doesn't have a problem with its debt.

  • @anton2maa so that they can reuse it and put the tax payers money on something like this

  • @anton2maa stealth?

  • @anton2maa nice say

  • @anton2maa then the enemy know's where you are!
