@komakoma876 it's actually because the artists of the posters found that there wasn't enough contrast in the dress to bring out the shine, so they decided to add in a darker shade of blue. It's supposed to be a one off thing but it stuck lol. :D

This was always my favorite part of the movie. I wanted more of the magic. This is Disney Studio at its finest.

And as for any viewers here who give it a DISLIKE, I have a sneaking suspicion that they do it merely to get a reaction or to be a wiseass. Whatever.

Regarding the color of the gown, maybe the Cinderella costumes and dolls are all blue rather than white because white would get filthy? I like the white gown. White stands out in a crowd. Always does.
