The Ron Paul movement and the Campaign for Liberty which is RP 2008's successor movement has gained a great deal of growth and momentum over the last two and a half years. More people are waking up, and there is tremendous growth especially among young activists and voters. Rand Paul 2010 for Senate in Kentucky appears to be the biggest liberty race in US right now; also John Dennis of liberty movement is running against Nancy Pelosi in SF. The movement is growing.

I'm in Florida, and last week at the CNNyoutube debate, the Romney supporters were getting fistfuls of free voting tickets and stuffed the ballots! Ron Paul supporters got it all on video and now the truth on these supposed poll numbers is finally getting out. And I agree with the other comment, if the neocons keep doing what they're doing, it's just going to make everyone rally behind Ron Paul. :) Can you say blowback?

In reality they've done more for Ron Paul by cancelling the poll than if they hadn't. The reporting on the cancellation by CBS5 has the effect of both advertising that he (would have) won the straw poll in addition to advertising his supporters, and that the neoconservatives are trying to hide his support. 10 times better than if they'd actually held the straw poll! Here's a tip for the neocons, if you want to hide something, don't make a news story out of it.

I read about this shut down on line and was so glad to see someone caught it on film. The piece I read said something about "buying votes", that's way they shut it down. It's a fucking fundraiser!! I'm a registered Dem (sorry miss the deadline to change for the primaries) and I know more people who have switched to vote for Ron Paul. They have no idea, none..how big this movement is becoming..because it's not televised.
