stewart had a ton of bad encounters with bad tires in the 20 car while being in the top 10 or even leading. its been better since he started driving the 14. this isnt the 1st time he went off on goodyear. its a good thing their tires have held up more over the past 2 seasons cuz goodyear was making the sport even more dangerous than it already was with their failing tires

Im not exactly sure about NASCAR, but in F1 no matter how good a driver you are, if you've got a crap car you cant win the championship. It takes a big team effort to win a motorsport championship, maybe Juan's team just cant provide him a good enough car?

Then again, he does have 2 road course wins, one on each stop, and in NASCAR, there is part of where it's car, but there's also a big roll of driver in there, too. Also, you gotta remember, when you're racing at 190+ mph, there's even a little luck involved. There's a lot more gambling in NASCAR.
