Well, first of all, I suggest putting the batter in two cake tins, for starters.

Second of all, frost it (it's stupidly simple to make your own, so fuck canned frosting), and make an unsuspecting victim cut it. FILM THEM CUTTING IT.

I wish I had done that when I made my dad cut the rainbow cake I made. 8D

@cutie101464 well we didnt get any food colouring on our hands because we never really touched the batter, but I once tried adding food colouring to fondant and I definitely got it on my fingers then. I've been told that if you are using many colours, its good to wear latex/rubber gloves.

Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple.

Yeah we did, and it still just tasted like Vanilla.

We used Blue, Red, Yellow and Green.

Only thing you have to watch for is that by adding the food colouring, the top of the cake might burn faster.... i think its cause of the added sugar... if any :S
