Rabbits can be unbelievably stubborn. I had the same trouble with Pixel, so I bought several small bags of different types of hay. I discovered that she loves Brome and likes Orchard Grass, but hates Timothy and Oat. She's still not a huge hay eater, but she is eating more than before. So, you may try "trial and error" with him.

Got any techniques to get my rabbit to eat more hay? We've cut back on the pellets, and he's hungry but he still barely goes for the hay.
