  • Could you guys please do a video on replacing/installing fog lights for a 1999 Jeep Cherokee?? They're notorious for having faulty ones (like mine) and when it comes to car electrical, it's not my strong area and there are no electrical diagrams for them that are helpful. hope you can get one up, thanks

  • @Downhillbiker666 HI, We actually do have a video that shows you how to do this on a 99-04 Jeep Grand Cherokee. We also sell the replacement fog lights on our website 1aauto.com Here's a link to the fog light replacement video. youtube.com/watch?v=kIWpgIn3frI&feature=relmfu

  • this video just saved me about 150 bucks! thanks.

  • I have a break light that doesnt work when the lights are on but it does work when the headlights are off any possible solutions?

  • @mkeeyz You may want to check the bulb socket in the taillight for corrosion. This could be causing the issue. Hope this helps.

  • My tail light is out, but my break light works fine. Do you know what might be wrong? (I don't know the first thing about cars)

  • @64supermarioreturns Check the bulbs to see if they work,if they do it could be the sockets on your Jeep Grand Cherokee. We carry the sockets on our website 1aauto.com if this ends up being the culprit. Hope this helps.

  • what happends when the brake lights don't work after chaning the light's and fuses? I have a problem that wont help unless I change out the wiring. any suggestions? the turning and hazards won't work also. not to mention I change the left to right harness and it work but thethat means it has a problem with the wiring correct? all fuses have been change and the light bulbs also. so what advice can you help with this problem.

  • @zacharychislum You may want to take a test light, and check the wiring going to the sockets. If you have no break lights. You should also see if the break light switch is working correctly. You could test this with a test light as well. I would also check to see if there was a break in the wire coming off of the brake light switch. Hope this helps.

  • I appreciate the video. I hope your biz prospers. Live long my friends.

  • Great information!! Thank you!!! I replaced my taillight without the help of a mechanic

  • Can you tell me the difference of the tail light. I bought a 02-04 tail light replace and i have a 2001 jeep cherokee. will this work or not ?? made a mistake in purchase...

  • Thanks for the video. It helped me out. I know it seems simple, but some people (me) just don't know where to start... where are the screws, how to access the bulb once you have the lens off, etc. I have paid $20 for this in the past. This time, I bought at $3 bulb and I'm done.

  • Worked perfectly. Thanks

  • hey just used this to take off a rusty taillight guard-thanks so much

  • I know this has nothing to do with lights but can you please make a video on taking out and putting carpet in a 1999 jeep grand cherokee i would really appreciate it

  • cool !

  • Thank you for posting this

  • sorry.. but how do you puul the connector?

  • @BurnxxthexxBarBie No I am sorry it looks like a made an editing mistake there. There is a tab I believe you press on then pull the connector.

  • Thanks this is just what i needed!! ;)

  • i need to replace my brake light but my back door wont open is there another way of doing it?

  • @FATTBOI14 Only way is to remove your interior panel and find out why the back door won't open. Unfortunately I don't have a video on that yet.

  • Excellent video...very helpful. Thanks!

  • YOU ROCK

  • thank you so much, just followed your instruntions and worked great

  • @kaislaer Glad to help!

  • Thanks. Prying the taillight out of that ball socket is the worst part. Mine is pretty tight and I was afraid I might break something.

  • @ScottfromTexas Yes sometimes that can be unnerving but if you know it is the right thing to do it makes it easier to apply that little extra force.
