Not to reply an old status, but Yoshi's Story is considered a prequel to the sequel. Lol. Yoshi's Story has been confirmed as a loose sequel for ages now. Think of it like Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.

What a difference between this and the original. The original sounded more like carnival music, and this sounds like its a song from the Caribbean. I can't wait for Brawl to release, I will be playing this song on Yoshi's stage A TON!
