I like to have a good range in my toms, high to low. I normally do my floor tom's a little lower though. I prefer 16" floor toms than 14 ones (which is what i have in this video) cuz you can get a lot more depth out of it.

Tune your bottom skins tighter than your top head (to get this sort of sound). Each drum (even if it's the same size) has different characteristics so always tune the drums to where they sound good.

I use Ultimate Ears Super Fi 5 Pro in ears with custom molds. They're great, they have have seperate speakers for the lows, low mids and the high mids and highs so they're crisp but still give you the low end that you need as a drummer or even bessist!

I have the Ultimate Ears Superfi 5-PRO. Same drivers as M-Audio IE-30's i believe! Got custom molds for them. The bass response is awesome now and they are smooth man!
