DR 750 top-end knocking sound

it looks and sounds like it needs a complete teardown dont keep running it hoping it goes away it wont fix itself

I have a similar sound recently on my 800 big, goes away when engine is warm, just like you describe. Its not as hard as yours, yet, but still makes me worry.

I stripped down the top-end, got it all measured and saw nothing unexpected. Everything seemed to be OK. I suspect it was piston-slap - piston's skirt knocking at the cylinder wall. I put it all back together and the strange sound disappeared.

@oskarpomoz at my bike the problem was the tensioner of distribution chain(the spear was broken) sow I have to desambled the engine and replace the tensioner

wali jakby tłok o scianke cylindra, po nagrzaniu tłok sie rozszerza i jest w miare cicho.

No właśnie tak jest. Rozebrałem górę, tłok buja się na boki i jest taki odgłos. Składam i będę jeździł.

Być może że masz pogięty zawór ale nie do takiego stopnia że ucieka sprężanie ale on po prostu nie wraca gdyż trzonek jest zgięty i bije grzybkiem o tłok

Mi to wygląda na pęknięty tłok, panewka inaczej wali a tym bardziej z głowicy...
