@BobRossington If it was melodic sure it is. Is better than all the players on a guitar contest who are great at speed and shred but as composers are a shame. This one is a nice composition but as Bob says, is a song you can sing for a week and the next you will forget it. It needs more feeling, that ingredient that makes you repeat the song over and over.

Good idea to remove that Palmer from the rack. They get very hot under 100 watt load - due to the tungsten-filament stop-lamp bulb design. Basically you have an 85 watt bulb in a sealed metal-box - directly under your boutique valve-amp. If you must rack a Palmer then always leave at least 1 rack-space above it and utilise a fan to blow on that area.

They don't heat-up so much when using a cabinet as load.

Well played and a good overall sound -though I expect no less.

Wow!!! I totally get it. I understand why you won this contest. You seem to fully understand the relationships between melody, groove and emotion. You didn't crowd it out with a ton of "watch what I can do" riffs, and you made a visceral experience. A great soloist (of any instrument) plays it from the center but stays connected to the whole.

Not much else I can say. Just, Wow, really great stuff.

great tune bro .... anyway, i was thinkin about buyin a palmer pdi speaker simulator.... i have good heads and I am tired of recording with plugins, it sounds great but it´s not the same .... so... there´re a lot of options, ... like the 8 or 16 ohms simulator, what´s the difference? ... all my heads have the option of 8 or 16 ohms so ....

@openmind1984 try an attenuator like a thd hotplate it has a line out then on pc add impulse cabinets...it sounds like a multi-microphone recording...listen to my videos to hear the result..ive a marshall jcm2000 dsl and i record with no mics in silence

@guitarholy Actually it's the same as factory specs except for the Tung Sol. The V1 tube you can change yourself without biasing the amp so give it a shot. It sounds a bit more balanced than before and I've noticed Strats and Teles sound much better now. I've had Svetlana Winged C 6L6 in the power amp section before, that totally sucked!!! So I went back to the stock tubes. The amp is brutal but a monster to handle. The EQs are weird!!! =S
