  • Chops of fucking steel.

  • Did you shave your legs before or after you remembered to change your tampon? . . . . . . . . . P.S. Sweet cocktail.
  • thats awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • VERY cool. I just got a nice HB Drums RETRO-PHONIC cocktail set and it is FANTASTIC. For a few hundred bucks, you cant go wrong!

  • what kind of sticks are those? rutes? those weird rute stick hyrbids?? i cant tell

  • hey awesome stuff man! what are those sticks? i know i've seen them, those "brush ended" bamboo kind of things by pro mark.

  • Are those rods? If so, did you just do a buzz roll with them? How does that work out?

  • yamaha club jordan?

how much did it cost to build it? mounted or you bought?

  • hey man!!! Love the rolls!!!1 haha Are you using sticks??

  • @candidcomment they are hotrods

  • Hey Chef what siza are those hi hats ya got there. I am considering using the same set up on my kit. You can see my kit if you search "The Johnny B Good Project" or just look on my profile for that video. I'm currently using two Zildjian "a" type cymbals, but want a closed hi hat sound as well.

  • Those are 10" Stagg Hats.

  • Thanks man! I love your taste. You helped me formulate my tour plans by seeing you play this cocktail set. I had heard about them but never real heard some good playing with musical taste on them. That was sweet.

  • Thanks for the nice words!

  • Check out my video "The Johnny B. Good Project". I have my set out in front of Walmart at Christmas, and the guy playing them does an amazing job! I don't know how he got half the sounds out of that kit that he did because when I play them it's just basic stuff! He was able to find some cool dynamics in that little set that I would have NEVER thought was capable of soundind like that!

  • VERY COOL!!

  • is that a yamaha kit or something else?

was thinking of getting one for my acoustic unplugged duo gigs !! what's the price range?? ..if it's a yamaha, i know already..if it's another brand , what are we talking here ?..thanks, and fantastic playing by the way !!!

  • I got them on ebay for about $235 I think. They are GP Percusion. They are a good set of shells, but the cymbals that come with it are trash!

I put new heads on as soon as I got the kit and some quality cymbals. All in all I'm happy with them for the price. Oh yeah...the kick pedal is ok.

  • loved it!!

  • Joe Morello and Bill Brouford off the top of my head!

  • What cymbals are you using? Are those the GPs?

  • They are GP's and I'm using a Paste 101 16" crash and the high hats are 10" old Zildgens.

  • Yeah man, it was cool. I can hear a certain soul in your rhythm...who should I listen to that you would recommend right off the top of your head?

  • Joe Morello and Bill Brouford off the top of my head!

  • awesome
