Im new to Christianity and this deception in the church is scarey.

It looks very pagan and occultic. God doesn't want us to get carried away with emmotions but to preach the Word of God and be like Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

When we do not follow godly order, we do not get the results it is meant to bring. You have not followed godly order, how can you expect to get godly results. To jump to the final phase of Matt. 18 and expect to get godly results is unholy and unrighteous and expecting God to honor that which is not His order.

God is NOT pleased with this man but in his mercy he is reaching out to Mr. Bentley by calling him to repent, the next step will be his judgement. This is a evil demonic anointing they move in and it must be broken. The only way to break this is for the people of God to fast and pray.

I admire the heck out of these guys for their courage! Thank you! I do want to ask, if Todd did not have adultery would they have had a problem with other aspects of his ministry (uncontrollable shaking, twisted prophecies about Christ coming in person, leg-dropping a congregant)? Would you have rebuked him and Joyner for their kundalini-type spirit impartations?

The sin is an issue BUT well before his exposure i had issues with his angel of light visitations,3rd heaven visitations and not to mention the demonic counterfiet manifestations of the holy spirit that were more of a mockery not holiness.

Nowhere in the life of Jesus do I see what you did as a group. It smacks more of pharasees presuming to interrupt a meeting in which you had no authority. Ganging up on a man who is being restored by someone else. Remember, with what judgment you mete out, you too shall be judged. He is God's to judge, not yours. He is another man's servant, not yours. To use Jesus to defend public attacks by groups in a public meeting, reflects neither the nature of the King nor His Kingdom. It sounded more like an attack of a cult group than anything else. It has not biblical parallel or example to point to and did not follow Biblical order. Todd showed more of the nature of Jesus than these men did. I have been in ministry over 45 years and the nature of Jesus is produced by acts motivated by the Spirit of God. This was not evident in this event.

It is difficult for me to see Jesus doing what these men did. They did not follow the order of God in this matter. Matt 18 was not followed by them, therefore, no matter what they say their motive was, they are out of Biblical order.

Psalm 51 is a proof of it...What is obvious dear brothers and sisters who are part of the body of Christ is that the video "Public Rebuke of Todd Bentley" shows us that Todd Bentley does not have a repentant heart. If he did he would have publicly addressed the issue of sin, by openly saying that what he did was wrong and he does not propogate such acts of open sin. Those that are against open rebuke needs to judge for themselves if Todd Bentley is even remorseful.

Why do we wonder? Isn't divorce and remarriage allowed in almost all christian churches? How many christians divorce? They do it commonly, as commonly as pagans do.

I would think you would FIRST Hold up the judgement from a MAN, next to the Scriptures used. As well as the scripture being used, as how God meant it to be used. THEN, look inward and do some repenting if the rebuke was of God, and NOT of man. I am not claiming rebuke is unbiblical.

But please do not represent that ALL rebukes are of God, and not at at ALL of a Prideful man, acting in his own sin. THAT is why you shouldn't agree with Man without testing the Spirits. How do you test the Spirits, with your Own spirit, as well as with the Scriptures. THAT is how you react to a rebuke. And that isn't also addressing the fact that there was also an attempt to go to a Brother Privately.

If you listen to the 'restoration videos' that Rick Joyner, Todd Bentley, and Bill Johnson, posted on morningstar website you will hear may disturbing things. But one of the Biggest is that Rick Joyner says that it is about time that a guy like himself go and write a doctrinal book on divorce. He was clear enough to allow for the understanding that he wanted to 'free' ministers who are disqualified because of divorce. Many ministers will fall because of the popularity of Ricks teachings.
