  • BRILL!!

  • Sounds a bit like George Harrison.

  • @hvrtguys george harrison sounds a bit like Bob Seger

  • Love that he's rockin an Ovation!

  • The one thing that annoys me is how instant success in music has become. Legends like Bob Seger and many others paid their dues and earned a spot in music history. Lady Gaga, Beiber and Spears, etc are not legend material in my opinion..

  • @amtranboy Such an amazing talent...Guys like Bob, and Neil Young and Willie Nelson wouldn't have a chance in today's metrosexual/porno idol "music" scene.

  • @trina19751 I so totally agree with you! I am a lot older than you, and I love all kinds of music, but against the new kids that are voted for on American Idol, I have to say the 60's 70's and 80's had more class!

  • what a legend <3

  • One of my favorites.

  • I saw this tour in the old Miami baseball stadium Easter Sunday 1980. Missed half the show due to some screwed up people. If anybody remembers the 80's in Miami, they were some pretty freaky times down here.

  • Such a big fan of Bob! Legend!!!

  • Don't sell young people short. :D

Also, there's always new music that's good. But it's rarely found on so-called Top 40 radio.

  • MY DADDY HAD A RING THAT WAS AN ACE CARD, HE PLAYED A MEAN GAME ALL THE WHILE MAINTAINING CLASS, DIGNITY AND GRACE LIKE A TRUE SOUTHERN GENTLEMAN..A TRUE BAD ASS

  • Bob seger slept with 16 ppls wife in 1965.

  • Capital Centre: now there's a phrase from the past. It was imploded back in '98 or '99. But Bob's great!

  • How can anyone dislike this? What is wrong with those 15 people?

  • The Best!!!

  • I figured Seger for a one-man CCR. His songs are achingly nostalgic to those of us who lived those times, because his songs even in their written present tense were about recall. He sang about what had been, and what still was, like in this song. Decades later they hurt so good. I got to be 30 years old for the maximum 365 days allowed--and then I did 31, and so on. Don't ask me how I can be 65 now.

  • The drummer is hitting the snare with authority.

  • piękny głos i ten dzwięk gitary ;ho ho chłopiec z gitarą fajne!!!!,pozdrawiam

  • One of my favorite songs

  • Gosh we ARE ALL OLD. wASN'T HE CUTE?

  • I have a new crush. I didn't know he was so hot!

  • help me 2 help u

  • Damn this brings back memories. "Still the Same" effect on me too. Love it!!

  • Go Navy beat Army sirs! USA! He's still a jealous GOD too. Under the shadow of the wing of GOD! AMEN

  • where did u find this

  • There is no more good songs like this. Time it's over.

  • Bog Seger's still the same! He's a legend!

  • You say Lady Gaga, I say The Doors

You say Hannah Montana, I say The Rolling Stones

You say Owl City, I say Led Zeppelin

You say Jonas Brothers, I say The Beatles

You say Justin Bieber, I say Queen

You say Taylor Swift, I say AC/DC

95% of teens these days listen to the same crappy pop over and over again. If you're one of the 5% who still listens to real music, thumb this up, then copy & paste it to at least five videos. Don't let the spirit of rock and roll die

  • @trina19751 These comments are silly. You say Lady Gaga, I say Madonna. You say Hannah Montana, I say Debbie Gibson. You say Owl City, I say I have no idea who they are. You say Jonas Brothers I say New Kids on the Block. You say Justin Bieber, I say Vanilla Ice. You say Taylor Swift, I say Cindy Lauper.

Quit acting like our time as kids didn't have the shallow type of music we see now. It was then as it is now. Don't romanticize about such things. Good music is still being written.

  • @dQbell Disagree PUNK!!!Todays MUSIC SUCKS

  • @trina19751 Someone says Trina and I say shut the fuck up and get a life.Stop with that same bullshit and say something that requires slight wit and mental capacity.Tell me your favorite Stones,ACDC,Zep, and Beatles songs and I'll prove you're just a goof.

  • @70goldtop wow that is real grown up! by the way I live in the USA I say what I want when I want! I am old enough to Not take orders from someone online trying to be a bad ass! Thank you and God Bless!!!!!!!

  • @trina19751 Unfortunately your view of freedom is the ability to be a politically correct robot.Once again...state your favorite songs from the bands you say are the greatest.

  • @70goldtop I play bass I would play their music all day before the new stuff. Unfortunately I dont want to waist my time on naming songs to you ...they have they have a long list of great songs...

  • @trina19751 I hate to say it but in about 30 years, people are going to look back on that music with fond memories. i don't like it but it's just how it works.

  • @trina19751 I dont think you realize this, but when all of the ladder bands had just debuted, people thought the same thing about them. That they were "crappy pop" music of the new generation and its a disgrace to music. The new generation is linked to new music, nothing you can do about that. Its just music, you conceited bastards.

  • @trina19751 BEST COMMENT I HAVE EVER READ,CHEERS YOUR GOLD.

  • this song is about a card player

  • @badhorsee I think only metaphorically. No card player wins every literal bet they place. I took it more to be someone who's a player at the game of life.

  • i'm 666 years old, and i enjoy bob seger.

    Capitol Center, yeah!!

  • Great song for novice guitarists to learn.

  • every time i listen to great songs like this brings me back to the time and place i was when i first heard it, my childhood memories , these songs help keep them alive!

  • groovy, i was at this show with a beautiful big-boobed blonde. i still love ya, Donna White, wherever you are!

btw - sounded alot lot better than this crappy video!

  • just like the song says seger is still damn good nobody's gotten to him yet.

  • this guys a genuine rock talent,he has great writing ability.remember GM took his'LIKE A ROCK" song as a theme for their trucks ha ha.i heard he did writing for jingles, and whatever you want.im not sure if this is true or not.i do know he has written alot of songs/hits.i grew up with one of his keyboard players.hes had lots of side men over the years im sure.i think his career spans 45 years now...about.

  • Nothing like old bob Seger Thanks for posting this and sorry for all the hits on your server. (I cross posted) :-)

  • One of the best concerts I've ever seen. I've been going to concerts since 1976, and Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band is one of he best ever.

  • Beautiful song, whether live or in the studio. Seger's the master.

  • An old maestro of music, no questions. He's a great one!

  • from racine wisconsin live Pharr tx this is the best

  • alright...

  • bob seger is the real deal

  • Bob Seger is the the king

  • That's just what my father says. To him,the king is not Elvis Presley, although Seger wasn't attractive enough when he was younger to be a teen idol. He was never a movie star like Presley.

  • damn i always listen this song at my store and i always singing it when im doing load

  • Where you work, the satellite feed you have must be the Tropical Music Service's FM1(Foreground Music One). This format contains some other of Seger's songs like AGAINST THE WIND,THE REAL LOVE and IN YOUR TIME.

  • I have owned "Stranger in Town: in 8 track, Cassette, LP, CD and now downloads. Still awesome no matter what format though!

"i had nothing left to say.."

  • A lovely song.

  • Tangent5000 thanks for the great post. Bob Seger... one of the few greats and this song, one of my all-time favorites. What a voice!!!!

  • I love him. I am 42, and remember my older sister playing his live album "Night Moves" over and over and over. He has always been in my album collection, then cassette tape collection, CD collection and now on my MP3. He is a genius! Live long Bob!!

  • I love him and I am 70 yrs. old, girl...who doesn't love BOB??????

  • Couldn't agree with you more, Brendababe1 :)

  • haha I'm 41 and I remember MY big sis playing this cassette in her boy friends Green Torino

  • This is the only person, the only person, that deserves the title of minstrel. He has done this for a very long time. Oh, yeah, he is good. Is there anyone else better? You never get shortchanged listening to this guy. His songs are poetry. And, here is what is really wierd, he's a really nice guy. Go figure?

  • DAMN hes good

  • A wow sweet ballad with an emotional force that drives behind Bob's great vox!

  • bad ass gambler song!

  • hell yeah

  • Bob Seger unknowingly wrote this song about a great man who is alive today, Ernesto Perales

  • i discover again this song last year, with a friend...... was a great idea..... still genuis

  • ANOTHER GREAT SONG BY BOB .

  • GREAT SONG FIVE STARS .

  • Good live voice, I'm impressed! Always have loved this song.

  • Seger reminds me of my late uncle back in the late 70s physically and he also wrote much of the soundtrack of his life - L.I.P. Carlton

  • Just great..........*in Erinnerungenschwelg*

  • i keep mentioning in all seger vids., that i think of him as my "boss" rather than springsteen, and this performance proves it to the fullest extent

  • Hi, I´m from Peru and I listened to this song one hour ago while I was watching KNIGHT RIDER... Now through this web I´m enjoying this brilliant song.

  • Yeah, Knight Rider had some really cool music.

  • Great song i remember playing my moms albums when i was a kid and seger was my main choice. Brings back alot of memories and im glad to have his songs take me back and revisit good days in my life!!!!!!!Lord knows i have alot of ruff ones.

  • cheaper goods is all it comes down to

  • his backup singers are hot

  • Saw Bob in Miami at about this same time. I said then and I say to this day...

NOBODY stays truer to the songs you are accustomed to hearing and singing along with or gives a better live performance than BOB SEGER.

  • Not anymore buddy. That was 30 years ago.

Those hotties are in their 50's now. Getting old is a bitch.

  • Shawn Murphy and Laura Creamer. Both still pretty hot.....

  • Laura Creamer sounds like a porno name.

  • lol it does

  • I was going to reply with something brilliant like fuck you or something, but LMFAO... Your right. It does sound like a porno name. But I swear to God, that is her name...

  • Maybe she's one of those rare girls who squirts when she gets off.

  • I wish I had, for my father old hippie still rockin :3

  • Thanks alagumbo!! Bob is the man! A great song writer.

  • very nice fantastic 5 stars *******

  • This is great. He can really do it and his words always hit the nail on the head. When I hear this song is always places certain people in my mind. Old and new folks.:) the players.

    GREAT!!!!

  • Hey tis like a good pop, sooo much soul, only Bob's way ! Acoustic still rules, yeah.

  • Thanks for the share. I remember back in'78 when Thin Lizzy used tp play "Rosalie" and Phil Lynott said" this is a number by Bob Seger" and thought he must be excellent if he wrote that

  • John, You thought right. lol IMO he is excellent.

  • Bob=Charisma

  • ya dat es korikt, karisma U got, Bob too. bye dee way, Blondie rocks und Sweden too !!!

  • That is amazing, sounds just like the original recording, yet its live.

  • Bob Seager it's time to give God of that spotlight. smile Great music.

  • reminds me of my old man and his gambiling habit that man can TURN ON THE CHARM!

  • Good lord, I don't remember Alto playing guitar! wow! Nice to hear Bob "live" again. Damn, I'm getting old!

  • Old vid or not...We're lucky to see this> if your a Seger fan you'll apreciate this...

  • Bob Seger is th king of Rock & Roll with a touch of the Blues

  • My father will love you for saying that. He

always said that about Bob Seger. But unlike the late Elvis Presley,Seger was no teen idol or movie star.

  • awsome song from the heart of bob, sound sucks filming is elementry low production

  • This is RARE because Alto Is Playing a Guitar in this song/video. Bob Seger Is The Greatest! Love This Song!

  • I like how he accidently hits the major chord during the intro... oops!

This has got to be one of my favorite songs! I grew up one generation too late. I was 2 when this was made!

  • Man, look at the backup singer wearing a leotard w/a belt. I remember Pat Benatar doing that.

Straight forward rock 'n roll. Love the lyrics & the jam

  • legend lives on...sounds the same live as in the album...cant say that about many artists today

  • Defintely the best story teller!

  • Bob is the real deal. great songs

  • nice song
