WTF, lol. They are genetically engineered super-soldiers and in "magic mech armor" and she solos 50 of them.

This is the first thing we learn about Terra, even before her name.

Easily one of the most powerful and interesting protagonist characters in the history of fiction.

Certain things about FF6 were just so revolutionary at the time.

The quality and artistry of the music...and it's not just any background music, it is carefully selected to set the mood for each level and each character.

Modern, re-balanced remake with modern graphics and voice acting would be EPIC, but would take years of work to make it right.

SquareEnix... re-imagine this game with an exploratory open world. Same story. Same theme. HD graphics, keeping with the original art styles imagined by the artists. Add new side quests, and mini games. So many developers, have used this game as inspiration into their own works. Perhaps make Final Fantasy XVI a continuing off-shoot, 1000 years from FF 3/6.

I observe the music rythm, and or melodies,,, if i listen to it again, and again I only come to 1 conlusion:

THey are soooo good...

They just realy are, I don't know wat to say after this, They are just amazing.

I still think the FF6 opening is the most cinematic moment from any video game, graphics be damned. It just goes to show that solid direction and creativity is more important that technical merits.

Which version of FFVI is this? The dialogue is different from the SNES version.

Actually, this is the SNES version. No fan translations had been made and the title retains its original US FFIII name. The opening title would not change until the game's re-release for PSX when it came packaged with FFV, then correcting the title and some minor changes to the dialogue. As you may see, the soldier's name is still Vicks and Ted Woolsey remains the translator.

3:58 when Terra's theme starts is just immense. What an amazing game, why the call for a Final Fantasy IIV remake? Maybe it is me getting old but this was the best one, this is an absolute classic, probably my favorite game of all time. And my first system was a ZX Spectrum. Just timeless.

The story was heart breaking, and beautiful. It really sucks you in, and the music was INCREDIBLE. I haven't really kept up with video games since Nintendo 64, so IDK if they've been able to create games equal, or better than this one....

N64 didn't have better games than this SNES game IMO...

final fantasy 3/6 was amazing my all time fav game nothing can take its place in my mind. id pay anything for a remake with ffx type graphics but the same game play. though the SNES graphics are fine by me i loved them so much
