  • dora the explorer was painful :)

  • @bigpp307 I know. My apologizes for making you sit through that ;)

  • @EdentiaFarms my kids played it that and barney

  • Oh that looks so good, I love the way you made that look!=]

  • @sherrilenett Thank you! I think your soaps look awesome.

  • granny sweater soap and Dora FTW

  • @elohelreh LOL, I know! The kids are only allowed to watch TV on Saturdays so sorry about the loud kid stuff in the background :)

  • @EdentiaFarms No need to apologize!! :)

  • I agree about the bags... it's really challenging to get the right consistency and not have hot soap pouring out the other end!! Lol.... I think I'm going to have to give making the bottles a try. Thanks for the video and suggestions!

  • They look gorgeous. I envy your piping skills!

  • @dianeuk01

Thanks, practice with cake icing! I took a cake decorating class once so that helped. Pick up a cake decorating book to learn design techniques and so on. I'll be checking your channel looking for piping on your soaps! :)

  • @EdentiaFarms That's a good idea. I had a look at courses a few months ago at my local adult college but this time there were none, will keep checking, as boy do I need the help! ;-) Thank you and now I'm nervous lol

  • pretty!!!

  • @aprillee01

    Thanks!

  • Beautiful! You piped that on with such ease... I need to see if I can make one of those piping bottles, looks like there is a bit more control thank with the piping bags. =)

  • @mrscrafty100

    Thanks Dani,

Much easier than the bags. It felt like I was actually doing a cake for once ;)

Usually my adventures in piping soap end up in a really colorful blob that end up in pot for a hot process "Plan B" soap... LOL

  • Those are so pretty, Bonnie.... very feminine! Can't wait to see them cut! How did you like the piping bottles? I'm just learning how to do the piping and just purchased a larger bag but your bottles made it look so easy and much less messy?

  • @KindredBlissBB

The bags are a nightmare to work with! If it's all you have, let it set up until it's scoopable and scoop it in as you need. The bags are great for cake icing but soap changes consistency as you work with it so my experience is it's either too thin or too thick and the bags are more sensitive to your hand pressure and squeezing. The bottles seem to even that out. Hope it's not too disappointing that I will only be making one cut =) I'll try and film the cut.

  • Thats a good knife.

Oh Yeah the piping is real nice - lovely design

  • @EdensSecret1

Thanks, Karen. Anything coming from you is a compliment regarding piping :)

The knife is a Wilton Angled Spatula.

  • That was a big batch of soap. Love the piping.

  • @annkus3

It was about 6lbs of oils. That's about my average size these days. Thanks for watching & commenting :)
