It looks weird but this is like optical illusion to me.

Let me explain, dark thing (?) = trees ( I mean leafes/leafs <- i don't know how to write this word -.-), and his hand position suggest that he was talking to her. [yeah, we love misunderstandings ;p]

I hope the novels are almost done for this, because I cant get em and unless they are done this season will have a crap-tastic inconclusive ending like many other animes. Based on the trailer it looks like theres going to be an awkward misunderstanding with Hazuki like what happened with the red head in season 1. I also hate the dokuro chan refrences, they bring back disturbing memories... I can crack skulls in gears 2 but something about seeing brutality like that in anime, it disturbs me...
