  • You sir, are a true genius! I wonder if it's possible to build one large enough and powerful enough to put on my 1969 Schwinn Stingray. I can see the people's jaws dropping in disbelief as I tool around on it at a car show!!

  • so how much time and money did you use to make that awesome engine?

  • Do they make a dynamometer small enough to test it for HP and TQ? That's cool, man!

  • JUST COOL!

  • I want one

  • I wanna buy this MSG me I got some money

  • Beautifully made

  • Yes, most of the others are1" bore, 1" stroke.

  • Whats the fuel economy on that?

  • you should figure out the torque and horsepower. This is a 3 cu in motor, so seeing as a ford 302 can make anything from 150 hp to 600 hp, it would be interesting to see if it falls within the range of 1-6 hp or more or less. I have heard before that smaller engines make more power per cubic inch, but it would be interesting to see how that holds up at such an extreme.

Also, exceptional build. I wouldn't even know where to start and can't imagine how much time you put into this.

  • just awesome

  • Where did you get the engine spark??

  • all you need now is a back seat and a honey dew.

  • wow the sound is spot on. the lumpyness of the tickover and bark of the engine. love to see it on a dyno

  • simply astounding !!!

  • Skip to 3:38 for start up then go back amazed and watch the description for a couple mins. !!

  • Would you consider selling one of these????

  • ''Honey! fetch me my legos!"

  • Wow! IS that crankshaft and flywheel flopping around like a sausage in a bucket, or is that an optical illusion? Sure sounds a lot sweeter the engine in the "the world smallest V8" video.

  • you must have one hell of a machine shop!

  • HOW DID YOU MADE THE CRANKASE???

  • Ya that sounded weird "PLANS" not "PALMS" haha

  • That is amazing ! It sounds exactly like the full size version . I would love to see your palms or the inside . How do you resist making an RC speed boat with it?

  • I never thought a V8 can be so cute !

  • very well done

  • its nice, which gasolinu use?

  • that so mean bro nice work].

  • thats badass and sounds mean i would love to see an RC car with that in it!!! lol

  • Strap this on a bike and you have the coolest moped on the block!

  • salute to you sir!!

  • I wonder how long one of these would last at WOT, with some form of cooling of course. I always see people blip the throttle on these little motors, you actually held it for a bit which was nice, but I wanna hear one of these things get wound up nice and tight.

  • that is fucking amazing! make an rc car out of it :)

  • thi is very cool

  • Cool set up...Sounds better than the other guys also his sounds like a weed eater.

  • hot for teacher

  • Where did you buy the spark plugs from?

  • @marioturbo1 rc plane, he says it in the beginning in the video

  • i sooo want one but people want like 2k for one ill pay up to 500 but damn

  • THAT SOUND! Sweeet!!! Must have been a though build, but totally worth it.. Souns like the real thing!!

  • Got a nice little stiffy watching this, and the sound fuuuuuck, that is sweet

  • Sweet you can tell its got the ummm of a normal size v8

  • Mini rb26.

    That is all

  • FAP FAP FAP FAP FAP

  • your crank is running crooked!

  • Why a V8? Why not a I4 or V6 or Flat 4/8? I hate American's obsession with V8's....

  • Thats pretty badass. Now you gotta put it in a mini chassis

  • If its built like a 2stroke, whats the point with the camshaft?

  • how much was it to make it? because it seems awsome to have :)

  • That is amazing. Sounds beautiful. How long did it take you to make this?

  • nicely done sir, i take my hat off to you!! that is incredible

  • how many hp? lol

  • I'm not a mechanic but can still appreciate the workmanship that went into this. I take my hat off to you sir

  • Mate, that is brilliant! Well done!

  • great job

  • vroom vrooom!

  • Very nicely done. One question, in the video the flywheel side of the crankshaft appears to be moving up and down. Is it not supported back there? Or is the support lacking?

In any case, it is a badass piece of work. Good Job!

  • Brilliant, fair play to you.

  • Nicely done runs good .

  • I think this one of those new down sizing engine's.

  • When does production start, I want one!!!!!

  • Imagine what it would sound like with four of those OS carbs on it!!

  • SPEECHLESS AND GUYS!! THIS IS BUILT LIKE A TWO STROKE. THERE IS NO VALVES!

I COULD NOT SEE YOUR FACE BUT, I COULD DEFIANTLY TELL YOU ARE OLD SCHOOL. I CAN JUST IMAGINE THE GLASSES YOU HAD TO WEAR TO BUILD THIS THING. YOU ARE THE OLD SCHOOL MAN IN MY BOOK. DOUBLE HATS OFF TO YOU.

  • @craftsman1598 No, this is a four stroke. There IS a valvetrain. See his other videos, and he states the camshaft is steel.

  • @craftsman1598 he turned 18 last year

  • @craftsman1598 It is a four stroke engine, of course there are valves.

  • @craftsman1598 mate its a four stroke its got spark plugs and a cam shaft, meaning it has valves

  • @craftsman1598 im guessing you missed the camshaft gear cover, and the valve covers(standard on a two stroke, right?), and that's a fancy two stroke to have intake and exhaust ports in the heads(but without valves, right?), your comment tells me that out of this whole video, the only thing you could comprehend is that there is oil in the gas.

  • @kona181 I was about to say the same thing to the guy when I saw your comment. "camshaft" pretty much means "not two stroke". I was going to ask if he had any plans to put it in anything, but I'm guessing it doesn't have any real way to dissipate heat, so it can probably only do short demonstration runs.

  • By the way, I love this!!

  • Sounds like she needs an oil change.

  • That little thing is awesome! I'm amazed at how responsive the throttle is. Does it get too hot if you run it for a long time?

  • Where can I buy this?

  • @eXcium are you deaf? he said in the video that it's home built. Only one exists and we can be almost certain that it is not for sale.

  • how much horsepower does it produce?

  • This outstanding!! I am very very impressed. Machining this, most impressive.

  • That is awesome! I bet the valve springs were a pain in the ass to fit :P

  • put this in my honda civic

  • these little engines are so bad ass! my hat is off to you!

  • LOVE the sound of it!

  • Nice! Can u build me one?

  • I want that in my moped!

  • GOOD FOR A SMALL BOAT

  • wow

  • put that on a goat cart!

  • i wish you were my dad :)

  • dont mix milk with red-bull.... why does that keep showing up

    ?

  • something i always wanted to see is a b18(civic) engine never seen one before..

  • why is there a girl showing off her ass next to this clip?

  • Man what a great build!! What I wouldn't give to put that in an RC car. 3-speed auto and solid axle, would be sweet! Then Conley wouldn't have the market cornered at 14,000$. The details of your build are truly amazing, even the 44 on the vale covers, great build man!

  • great engine for my rc cars.. nice work.. :)

  • Sounds good

  • I wanna replace my 48cc single cylinder 4 stroke china girl motor with one of these bad boys. Any chance on mas producing some more but with a cooling/oil system for extended operation?

  • wh\ts the firing order is it 18436572?

  • zarabanda my friend, zarabanda!!!!!!!

  • Very cool man....how much you want for it!

  • very nice but theirs no cooling so whats the point if you can't run something

  • Absolutly the best who rely sounds like a big v8. I am imprest.

  • That is a nice piece of machining, did you make the valves and springs and all of the top end as well?

  • well done!

  • That thing sounds like a beefy V8 too. not like the other one i saw. Good work.

  • sounds fat!

  • This is just amazing.... :D

  • My scooter-engine is down... Do you sell?

  • @Daemonarch2k6 lol

  • I love it! It actually sounds good - - not "shrill" like the nitro burning copies.

  • amazing

  • you should turn it into a freaking awsome rc car

  • What kind of cooling system does it utilize?

  • unique sound.

  • It has 205 "Ant" power! lol

  • Outstanding effort. That is so cool. Bravo... I'm impressed. An engine built from scratch and it seems to be balanced quite well. Nice Job !!!!!

  • this is damn impressive, but the video "micro v8 engine" is way smaller

  • @Mikebue11 I saw "micro v8 engine" and it runs on CO2. Doesn't count, not internal combustion engine. But it's pretty cool.

  • pretty cool

  • Three thumbs up Sir! Really stoked my mechanical side! :-)

  • so heres the real question how much did it cost? haha

  • and ppl said you cant put a v8 in a honda civic!

  • Thats SO cool i wish i could put one of those in one of my RCs and test drive it

  • You Are The Man!

  • And still has more power than a civic aha

  • you should cam it out

  • do you have blue prints for the block?

  • must feel fucking awesome when that metal rod smashes into your fingers

  • Really Nice to see - of with my hat! If I had one :D

  • no RC v8 cars yet?

  • Put a hamster in it!

  • sounds loads bigger than it is :P

  • Idles nicely!

  • even sounds more v8'tier than the other worlds smallest v8

  • wow

even a 44cc v8 sounds better than an inline 4

  • you should put it into a scale model of a 1970s muscle car and your good to go...

  • Make a gearbox and exhaust!!!

  • Thumbs up if you like the girls ass to the right. :-D

  • @waterfordjim Maybe i would like, but i wasn't see that! Where?

  • now make a tranny to mach, and car to cover it hook up a remote control and lets see this beast haul ass!

  • DIY is the best!

  • how much horsepower and foot pounds of torque and how many rpm's redline?

  • What would your dentist office sound like if the drill was powered by this? /g

  • that would make a sweet chainsaw!

  • thumbs up if you skipped to where he startes it 3:30

  • thumbs up if you skipped to where he startes it

  • how much does it have Power and Torque?

  • For a second i thought i was at pit lane of the local drag track. Amazing

  • that could make a pretty powerful lawn mower :)

  • @CAMNZ117 nah, a normal briggs has more power

  • Well done sir. That is incredible!!!

  • sounds just like my dads 396 he used to have in his Camaro, used to shake the car sitting at a light. How much lift on the cam?

  • truly a work of art

  • MAN,THATS KOOL!!!

  • AMAZING!

  • Hours and hours of just fun...

  • Hand starting a V8. Never seen that before :)

  • @horizonflyer9 I once hand started a Rolls Royce v12, now that I dont recommend

  • @horizonflyer9 finger starting.

  • Any idea how much power does it produce?

  • ever thought of making a drivetrain and put some wheels on this little monster?

  • this is awesome how long did it take you to build this? and how much?

  • Now you need a miniature 6-71!

  • I never knew V8s could be so adaroble.

  • Does it have sump lubrication or only fuel lubrication (which I would assume is only top end?)?

  • Miniature lumpy cam eh? That thing is awesome.

  • Amazing !

  • How cool would it be to have an office desk fan powered by this tiny V8.

  • Will you please build me one for christmas? Or atleast give me plans for one?

  • awesome

  • This is really awesome. I am allways impressed by what some people achieve!!

  • sick, sell it to the smerfs

  • Very cool! You should machine a carb. as well.

  • Fantastic!

  • That old man is one bad mo-fo with some mad-ass skill !!!!!!!!! Kudos!!!

  • Nice sound !

  • very cool.

  • Is this a two stroke or a four stroke? If it four stroke that is pretty good machining!

  • Cert nice. Sounds like a real v8 too.

  • you should seriously go into business with these...I know I'd buy one...and that thing sounds like an NHRA beast ready to rip it up!....ever thought about putting it in an RC car...maybe a twin screw blower on top with a chrome sc
