  • More black people to learn about and embrace our history of blues music. I wish we were able to have more of this in the Virginia/North Carolina area I live in.

  • Each one teach one! I will be glad to donate to the education of the children so the blues won't die!

  • On another note: I drove up from NOLA that summer and obviously Nawlins is all about music as well. I guess its easier to make a living with music in NOLA (bigger tourism industry) , but there also is gvnmnt funding of instruments for ALL schools. Now that might be a good idea for Mississippi also. Get instruments and music teachers in all schools and start a state wide blues band competition. Upscale the whole initiative. Just an idea...

  • Letting you know what i did last summer: stayed in morgan's room at ground zero for a couple of nights; checked out the live gigs downstairs in the club; had a good chat with Razorblade (aha) and got his live cd; cruised round the bluestrail; had a drink with madman Red at the jukejoint and a history lesson by uncle Rat at the riverside hotel. So anyone contemplating visiting mississippi and clarksdale specifically. If you got any love for the blues, go do it! 1love

  • how can i bring this school of music to the west coast.?

  • Thanks very much for this. Long live the Blues :)

  • thank you for the download. i am from clarksdale, but now live in las vegas. it takes me home ya'll!! and its great to see them passing down the blues, teaching the kids, especially as a safe place to learn, clarksdale can be rough.

  • God bless you for passing down the blues,,,

  • the real blues !!!!!

  • I wished I could get my son in this. He has such soul and not many oppertunities. Not many blues played around the Texas panhandle.

I was raised in the delta and I grew up hearing the blues. I raised my boy on listening to the blues. That's all I could give him and he has it in him.

  • atleast he has u my dad dont like the blues or my mom or my friends im all alone in georgia

  • @geeyouknit345 You're not all alone. There's a whole Blues world out there, with the internet. Do yourself a favor, and don't listen to that Eric Clapton crap. Get the real thing. Check out the blues history of your own state. It's rich.
