Correct me if I'm wrong, but there was not another team with 2 19 game winners in baseball. C.C. and Fausto both have a good chance at the Cy Young award. If you look at how mant games c.c. lost 1-0 and say the indians score some runs in those, he would have won 25. Only team to beat the red sox in the playoffs too, so you can't say we suck!

The Indians would have won the series anyway. Their pitching is superb. The yankees have 1 good relieve (chamberlain) and he was to baby to deal with  bunch of bugs. The whole yankees team was. The Indians handled the situation more like mlb players, and they won because they were the better team.

The Yankees have been full of overpriced, complacent and frankly, old players the last few years that's the problem. Trying to hold onto the past, evidenced by bringing back Clemens, hurts too.

Not having a shut-down Ace like Josh Beckett is the biggest problem though. He makes Chien-Ming Wang look pathetic. I really hope Hughes, Kennedy or Chamberlain can turn into something because Wang proved he's NOT to be trusted in big games.

Time to push the panic button. Their "ace" is effectively a number pitcher with his bitchin 3.70 era and a horrid 1.30 WHIP. Andy Pettitte gave up more hits than innings pitched. Their bullpen is garbage and Joba is coming down to earth. Mo is having his worst season since his rookie year. The hitting is where it should be at considering everyone's age. A-Rod is slumping. The team is full of old farts with young talent that aren't going to be completely stellar in their rookie season.
