Ace combat 5 graphics are only slightly worse then ace combat 6's, only AC6's Explosians are really better, anyone agree? the story lines are equaly awesome though!

I love the ace combat series and think namco should make more(for the ps3 this time). But I got to say, even with the increasing realism ( graphics not physics 90 missles is good for me) they aren't going to be any new plots that will be as good as this one. It is, and always will be, the best of the series. (R.I.P. Chopper)

@AbortFlight Maybe they can do WWI, WWII, All the way up to modern times. But you are right about only going so far untill it gets unrealistic. An example would be AC3. Sure, it was interesting, but it just gave you that feeling of just a "what if" in the future.

It's based in a not-real universe, but not the AC universe. It's also based in 1957, with planes from up to the mid-60's thrown in. PM me in about two or three years, and I'll let you know if it's been finished. :)

I was able to pull off the Cobra manuever in the November City battle with the SU-35 and it worked pretty good, funny thing is, back on AC 4 when Yellow 13 pulled the Cobra on me, I tore him up with the guns

Agreed. Squadron leader was the name of the PAL version of AC5, released to Europe. Everywhere else got the Unsung War, which does sound better, given what happens in the game.
