i am not an Indian but I am a south-east asian and well aware of the situation they're focusing on this movie. All I can say is that I have high hopes up on this movie just hoping they'll be able to portray and solve this issue without bringing in too much of bollywood cheesyness into this.

Being a brahmin, I borned in a poor family and my family suffered financially and professionally too. reservation should be given to poor student irrespective of caste, gov. need to understand tht thre r poor but meritious student in general category also and they also need to be helped.giving quota to rich SC/ST student is worthless. general category should revolt against the format of quota.

Though reservations are seen as anit-meritocratic in nature, meritrocracy is meaningless without equality. First all people must be brought to the same level, whether it elevates a section or lowers another, regardless of merit. After that, we can talk about merit. Forward people have never known to go backward due to reservations or lack of "meritrocracy". Reservations have only slowed down the process of "Forward becoming more richer and backward becoming more poorer"

this film is giving wrong message. i belong to general category and i lost my MBBS seat to a candidate of reserved category whose rank was far below me. but reserving seat for him has nothing to do with my hard work. if i have potential i lll make it someway or other. and i have never disliked the idea of RESERVATION. people from that strata need it. we can alter with % of reservation or remove the creamy layer from getting the benefits but we still need reservation.

If so in what way is he under privileged? 2) A son of a Brahman peon is considered privileged as compared to a rich dalit's son. Does this make any sense? The son of a rich dalit is granted admission even if he scores half of what the poor forward caste guy scores. How is this fair? The real under privileged in this case is the person who had to battle poverty.
