Blessing come along everyday. Rich inspired me, to keep my eyes on Jesus. I pray everyone will focus on Jesus, and remember: He never said it would be easy, he only said it will be worth it......glory to the Lord!
He definitely left a legacy behind..., the same as Keith Green, Larry Norman...These guys were no "main-stream"....Only God knows why he had to take them away....Humanly speaking it would seem like we really needed them here, but they are in a much better place.
Here is one who didn't care for his status as a celebrity, but look at him sing, he's trying to connect with the people in the audience with the message. Powerful how sincere, honest, and selfless he was...
I was given a phone number to call to buy this video, but never had any luck reaching anyone. If anyone can help me, i would still so love to buy it. Thanks in advance!! :)
Rich wore himself out for God I'd say, and he is very much missed this side of heaven. I am really looking forward to knowing more of him when that time arrives.
@Lfydrw as I've been doing some household chores and listening to Rich Mullins music this morning, I asked Jesus to say "hi" to him for me. What a brother!
his voice is really tired and strained but the simplicity of his performance and the beauty of his words are like a river running deep and true from the throne of God into our hearts. When I am strong, the Lord is my strength. When I am weak, He is an even greater strength.
@maytaurus1961 All I can say beloved, is heaven is going to be beyond words. We have been living in this broken world for so long, we are hear for only a season. Just learning how to Love God.
m pretty sure that Rich Mullins would of been my soulmate if I had ever had that chance to be married to him...but then again he was much better off to not have been married to me or anyone ...other than Jesus!!! I love you Rich and miss you too much....FranaFly Park City Utah
@chasinherhorse - :) Rich said he got that a lot, girls coming up and saying "I'm your soulmate!" or "God told me we are supposed to get married!". I think a lot of it was just confusion with "Rich Mullins" the public guy and who he was, who his friends and family saw. (They weren't even allowed to call him "Rich", he would gently correct a young family member for addressing him as "Rich") i do agree that it was def. God's plan for Rich to stay single. He was able to do so much more!!
The words are so strong to this song ,, it applies to so much on such a deep level more then just our connection to God but to each other and how we need God to be able to een know how to love each other past our selfishness ,, it means so much to me for someone to see a deeply as I do ,, thank you for this post , the words are very real to my spirit ,Vlucidity (luicd clarity)

I have felt that way myself at different times. But, for some reason, the Lord wanted Rich to be single.
