  • Mental illness is a real condition. It strikes people of all walks of life and of all ages. Medication and other therapies can be helpful, but not always. This story is so sad. She's so young and it seems that as time passes, her condition only worsens. This is a reality for so many schizophrenics, though.

  • Jani Schofield was abused by her father. her diagnosis is questionable due to the fact that Jani has brain damage likely caused by her father shaking her as an infant. Learn the facts and demand the answer to the question of why none of the abuse is talked about in this or any of the videos about Jani.

  • Its not invisible phantoms! Its a possession.....and once one enters the body others can enter too. It is curable with the mind, not with medication.

  • Within 10 years from now some lucky bastard will fuck their brains out.

  • what if there really is a man watching her? lol

  • I admire the parents for their dedication in raising their child with such a traumatic disease

  • most children with mental illness have trouble sleeping.

  • poor baby bodhi.....its not safe for him to be around jani.

  • @lovememay22 You dont say?

  • what a load of bollocks

  • Gosh, the second girl Rebecca is scary as hell...Jani is a victim and is just disturbed by voices but Rebecca could hurt somebody one day.

  • crazy

  • I saw this on Oprah. This is a rare case. Most schizophrenics like my self are not violent unless there's drugs involved. I have a similar video on my channel.

  • she only sees "the man"..maybe she has a childhood trauma.

if i think of sexual child abuse...

Most of the children are 6-12 years old, followed by children between 0-5 years and third place are teenager between 13-16 years.

  • poor kids, hope they find a medication that helps them

  • what does god have to do with mental illness? god isn't real anyways

  • @HappySquid26 Why would you say that? Some people belive in God. Just repsect their belifes alright.

  • @angrybirdsforever

How could you say that?! My friend has a mental problem also and I wanted to see how other people live with it. trust me, if those little girls could chose what went on in their lives they would not like that happening to them, you would not either.

    @IrisKim0105

    Me too! :D

  • 7:43 - 7:53 x) She's so cute

    I hope they get better

  • When I grow up I want to help them

  • "The man?" I hope this girl hasn't suffered from some sort of abuse!

  • weirdo!!!!

  • i can't believe some of you people on youtube. These children deal with so much and all you can muster is- lol, wut? or zomg, soooooo sad.:(. All you disgust me and thanks for those people that actually. I wish there were more Hermione's than Bella's in a world of Pansy Parkisons.

  • @TheJosefbrosef seriously.... who the f cares?!

  • i have a schizophrenic friend named Gale...she had a baby and every time she felt like she was getting sick, she would give the baby to me...she would walk him in the stroller in the rain...one time i was in her trailer and she pointed to the corner and said "i know you see that..." i told her to describe it she said "its big...8 foot tall, hairy brown but its not a bear." it was then that i took care of her baby for a while until she got out of the hospital. people were awed that i was her pal.

  • @getawayfrommedonkey what? lol

  • This video makes me cry everytime I watch it. :(

  • The dad looks like peter sarsgaard.

  • that's one little creepy girl...

  • How in the world can people believe all the bs that this is all in the brain? It's so obvious that it's not! The spiritual world is REAL. My own cousin got possessed, and how did she get healed? She did not go to a psychiatrist. She went to our pastors. They cast the demon out with a lot of prayer. What is this world coming to? People are being brainwashed.

  • @Updownaroundtown Congrats.....both you and ichliebemusikundybd have been awarded "idiots of the year" award. Bask in your glory, you're very special.

  • @mxr73 Call me as many names as you want, it doesn't bother me. And It doesn't change the truth.

  • @Updownaroundtown The only truth is that you have no evidence to back up any of your claims, so you should sit in a corner and shut the fuck up.

  • @Kalevala87 Um, I have the evidence of a lot of people seeing it happen. That's evidence enough I think.

  • @Updownaroundtown And I can prove I have a dragon pet which sleeps right next to my bed at night. My parents saw it, so it's true. Are you done spewing nonsense?

  • @Kalevala87 I'm not going to waste my time this. Have a nice day, God bless you.

  • @Updownaroundtown Retreat. The only reasonable option for the one without arguments. Good choice.

  • @Kalevala87 Haha, funny. You're wrong. I just know that whatever I would say to you would just go through one ear and out the other. You already feel pretty stubbornly about what you think is right, so there's no point for me to say anything to you.

  • @Updownaroundtown You have no way to know, really. As far as you can tell I'm only as stubborn as you are. So you can either share this evidence of yours with us or make it clear that you possess no such thing and are just trying to deflect. Which will it be?

  • @Kalevala87 Any evidence wouldn't be good enough for you. But this I will tell you is that my cousin really was possessed, she behaved in a way that she couldn't control. At church, our pastors started to pray for her, pretty much the whole day, trying to cast out the demon. They eventually did, and she's now perfectly fine. You don't have to believe me, no one is forcing you. But it's true.

  • @Updownaroundtown And again, saying it's true won't make it such. Rather than deciding on your own that whatever evidence you have to offer won't be good enough for people, start presenting that evidence and let people decide that for themselves. Until you do that, your words are meaningless and any claim to truth on your part will be dismissed as unsubstantiated.

  • @Kalevala87 Saying it's not true, doesn't make it false. And see? What did I tell you? Nothing is good enough for you. I was right.

  • @Updownaroundtown Do you realise that there's a difference between evidence and a claim to witness or hearsay? Until you realise that fundamental difference, people are bound to laugh at you.

  • @Kalevala87 Oh my goodness, do I look like I care if people are bound to laugh at me?? Obviously if I am telling you all this I really don't give a crap. You think that all that logic is going to get you somewhere, but you'll see when you're life is almost over, that it's all for nothing. Hopefully you realize it sooner than that. Good luck.

  • @Updownaroundtown Yawn. More empty words.

  • @Kalevala87 I feel sorry for you.

  • @Updownaroundtown The feeling is mutual, pal :)

  • @Updownaroundtown you're a retarded fuck. LOL.

  • @wakeIess And you're super nice! Seriously, like the kindest person ever.

  • @Updownaroundtown witnesses =! evidence. You and I can see the same event but interpret it in a very different manner. If it has gone through the scientific method and failed, then it's not backed up by any real, hard evidence. I'm happy you have faith in something, but don't disregard medical help. God gave us a brain didn't he? If he didn't want us to learn all the things we know, then why let us?

  • @akissy My cousin didn't need medical help because medical help would not heal her. In these cases, people are given medication to make the symptoms go away. But they are never fully healed.

  • @Updownaroundtown Schizophrenia is not healed, it's treated. It seems what your cousin had was a serious case of mas hysteria o even worse: suggestion. Schizophrenia doesn't go away, it's kept at bay and treated with meds, individual and family therapy. It's the similar with most psychiatric disorders (psychological and conductual =! psychiatric). So yeah, I think your cousin just was experiencing mass hysteria or suggestion. Read something else rather than the bible, the truth makes you free.

  • @akissy Exactly. Just treated. It never goes away, because it's spiritual. You can't make something that's spiritual into something physical. She was not experiencing mass hysteria. I know what that is, and how she was acting was nothing like mass hysteria. Half of the time she knew that something was controlling her, and even talked about it with our family. Weird thing is, she's fine now. 100 percent.

  • @Updownaroundtown Then she wasn't schizophrenic. She had religious delusions. Dear, you have no hard facts that she was sick, none whatsoever. And if she was in truth diagnosed by a doctor, which I find hard to believe since you say a book dictated by a bunch of illiterates (just ONE prophet knew how to read and write) is the real truth, she learned to hide her symptoms from you guys due to your devotion. And that's sad.

  • @akissy The bible is the truth, and the truth HAS set me free :) That saying is from the bible, just in case you didn't know :)

  • @Updownaroundtown Dear, it's irony... I was a catholic once, but the real truth, scientific evidence, set me free, tyvm.

  • @Updownaroundtown And enxt time you try to be a smartypants, don't be so with someone who was part of her youth group in her church, sang in the choir and had a bible under her pillow. I was very devoted, but I took the scientific arrow to the knee and turned agnostic. What I believe and want to happen, and what is real and is happening aren't the same things.

  • @akissy Very sad.. God bless you :)

  • @Updownaroundtown Oh, you could use irony too!! How cute!! ^^

Thank you, and may whatever deity you believe in protect you, cause you're gonna need it if you keep up the douchebagginess. ^^

  • @akissy You people are not very nice. But God bless you just the same. Bye!

  • @Updownaroundtown Same to you. Also, it ain't nice to disregard years of medical research just like that, ppl suffer and DIE when they do so you know?

  • @Ichliebemusikundybd go fuck yourself ignorant prick

  • Poor family. I cant even imagine how stressful for the parents. Now I feel bad for all the times I've claimed to be stressed about school it stuff.

  • for dinner BBQ ribs, strawberry lemonade, And THORAZINE!!!!!!

I have schizophrenia but that was funny.

  • poor kids, poor parents :(

  • this is sad shes pretty but sad

  • And I thought OCD and bipolar were bad. I feel sorry for these kids.

  • This is what happens when your parents did drugs in the sixties.

  • @AbneyParkFan

Actually no, Schizophrenia is clearly genetic. It affects 1% of the worlds population regardless of location.

  • @AbneyParkFan Hmm .... I haven't been affected by that.

  • Like a really bad high or something. Tie her hands down in that first clip, thats freaky.

  • @AbneyParkFan "Tie her hands down in that first clip, thats freaky." Don't be stupid.

  • Yeh it could well be demons. Like Marry Magdaline or the guy who coud rip his chains.

  • @TheHowlscastle what r u talkşng about u moron thats not demonic and u dont have a choice to believe this or not this is a mental disease basically your brain betrays you

  • Cinnamon?

  • poor kids

  • Fuck! poor kids

  • December 15, 2011

  • yup! she needs an exorcist.

  • @lolisaiahlol

    do you think your funny?

  • Oh! I think I've seen this on tv one time...still unreal...Poor kids

  • Hey guys. I'm battling from schizophrenia. I'm not asking for money or views or anything, but just for support and for people to hear me out. My psychiatrist said to let people know about your problem, but everyone thinks I'm weird and my family cannot understand or take me seriously. I made a blog about my problems, and I hope we can talk on there. My blog is battlingschizophrenia.blogspot.com . Fellow schizophrenics, you should also come. We can fight the battle together.

  • a place of maturity, free from the skirmishes, free from the drama, there were those not represented in history who remained neutral through all this,

  • a land of maturity, where there is no evil king/'the man/woman/inbetween drama, taken way too far, where useful things are used, and not ignored, just for the sake of money, these companies who have done this, dupont, etc, their need to have this image, hurts much of the planet, it must stop. Traditions must grow, we must revive the good of the medieval times, the sense of virtue, without the bad, and the herbal arts and medicines,

  • infantilism is just a materialist perversion of tao, purity is different and equally innocent in every stage, but its never self conscious

taoism is for those too mature for the family structure and the very different and alienated

I always felt different and alienated, not at home with family, then realized i am a fairy changeling, my real family was cooler but still i feel more a call to silence to just being without social concepts, to really have freeness

  • This is some of the most ridiculously convenient propaganda MSM has ever polluted itself with. Only lazy, ignorant people follow garbage like this. Seriously, wake the fuck up!

  • You see 24 hours? Like the T.V. show or the entire time space continuum?

  • jealous attention seeking brat is my diagnosis, but hell i'm not a doctor.

  • @yourmomisafish Wow, you are one unintelligent person. Well, actually, I understand what your saying. Schizophrenia isn't some sort of "made up disease". It's very real, and it does effect children. There is not even a debate about whether it's real or not. But... If you really want something to call a diagnoses "jealous, attention seeking brat", look up "Oppositional Defiant Disorder". That my friend, is real bullshit. Also, look into A.D.D, that would be something worth arguing about.

  • @EcnelOvelam Ha, very well said, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, man a lot of people have that, particularly the hater types who you can't argue with nor talk any sense into. Lots of people have ADD. Schizophrenia is such a horrible condition. I cry when I see those poor girls. I was one myself when I was their age. It's very real and most people can't understand at all what is going on inside of their brains. I still have horror thoughts that are invasive. We need better therapy programs.

  • @EcnelOvelam

I was with you until you mentioned A.D.D. Unfortunately, even though most consider it made up, there is much evidence that it's not. With A.D.H.D. in particular we know of transporter proteins working in reverse (which is why stimulants are prescribed, seemingly in opposition to logic), as well as many other quantifiable factors.

Also, I find that these stories showing violent schizophrenics are very misleading. The vast majority of schizophrenics are not the least bit violent.

  • @cswilkins100 Well said. Although violent schizophrenics certainly exist, they're in the minority. TV shows just focus on the most extreme cases in order to get more viewers.

  • @yourmomisafish You're an idiot.

  • @yourmomisafish You are a complete and utter twat. I hope you die in your sleep you sick bastard.

  • @yourmomisafish One can tell.

  • @Billyakas Medications effect everyone differently. I've taken it and I haven't changed a bit. I've been on everything my dr knows to give me over the past 5 years and nothing works. There are no miracle drugs.

  • @xKuroKittyx sure there are miracle drugs. just try mushrooms, ayahuasca, dmt. and perhaps lsd or mescaline. miracles happen every day :P

  • It sounds almost like demon possession...scary!

  • "I just want to kill everybody. And have the whole world, to myself."

Holy fuck, that gave me the chills. Teamed with the hand gestures and face pulling... It goes to show this is in no way 'attention seeking' or 'fake' it's clearly a huge issue and real mental disorder.

I can only hope for the best for this poor young girl, I'm sure she's lovely as a person inside.

  • @katieemmabull I thought that part was funny. Her face was silly as hell XD

  • 1:57 Face of a killer

  • incredibly sad.

  • Did i just hear,"Her mother Cinnamon" ???

  • @sebway23 susan.

  • poor kid :(

  • in some cultures, these children would have magical powers and be treated as gods, and that ain't a lie

  • Everyone please stop with the malicious comments. I work with schizophrenic patients. What they see and hear is very real. They would do anything they could to escape the unreal, but there is no treatment.

You wouldn't make fun of a cancer patient, so don't say insulting/crude things towards psychiatric patients.

  • @kristaalv does vices help with schizophrenia at some ways?

  • @D100J There are anti-psychotic drugs that do help them distinguish between reality and their delusions. The hallucinations are still there (most of the time), but they are able to separate them from reality and not act upon them.

However, these drugs are very dangerous to the liver and have to be monitored carefully. They may need to be taken off of them if their body cannot handle it. Also, their dosage my need to be increased as their illness advances.

  • what the FUCK!

  • did anyone see the devil riding a unicorn run across the screen at 0:30

  • maybe what they're seeing is real

  • @friendmwf that's mean! she's a little girl for gods sake...which one do u mean anyway?

I know what it's like to feel like no-one understands. then again, im a teenager lol

  • this is me on a bad day :P

  • God is still good.

  • I hate to say it and I may sound insensitive, but if the drugs and therapy aren't helping, this girl desperately needs to be locked away somewhere

  • @friendmwf If you hate to say it, then don't say it.

  • Well if you think about then they should say every child is schizophrenic. Cause, So many children live in imaginations. This is a bit mis-leading I guess.

  • OMG

  • just found out i have this.... :/

  • The hallucinations were manifesting as visual reactions during infancy. The evidence plays out as behavioral variables but aside from debate over evidence would be to live with the child and make the distinction as to whether she was really the lord over her " Imaginary world ". It appears that she is not.

  • It's called Munchausen by Proxy. It's actually the parents who are mentally ill.

  • @johnlovesbridge not necessarily.

  • @KrazyKitten186 Well, this particular case reeks of it. The parents appear to make a living parading their daughter through the media circuit.

  • @johnlovesbridge WHICH PARENTS??? or both sets? I'm puzzled...think i see what u mean but please clarify

  • I'd say that autism and schizophrenia have similar roots, but I definitely think that Jani has childhood onset schizophrenia. She has hallucinations and psychotic episodes. Her perception of reality is skewed, which is not characteristic of autism. It's possible that she could have both, but I definitely see prevalence of childhood onset schizophrenia.

  • @MsGabriellaG Where's the evidence that she has hallucinations? She's simply talking about her imaginary world.

  • This video is dangerous misinformation, trying to make out that kids have got a brain disease when they're actually victims of poor parenting. If children are "missing their connections" it's because they haven't received adequate mothering during babyhood. Jani Schofield isn't schizophrenic: she's autistic. Watch the mother at 2:00. She's not engaging with the baby at all, just talking AT her like a pet dog, and not even supporting her head. Is it any wonder the child has developmental probs!

  • @Decadence161 if so you have a risk of developing it. consider meditation.

  • "the man." Keeping the working man poor, hiding UFO's and now stalking a 7 year old girl. What an ass hole!

  • I think if these girls were offered Art Therapy, that could be really beneficial to their conditions, if they have not had it allready. No, it wouldnt cure it, but it would help them deal with it emotionally. Just something to think about.

  • @xRachieVx

I dont think it would help them emotionally because they are not in control of their minds. My partner's mother is Paranoid Schizophrenic and when shes in an "episode" there is nothing you can do, except make her take her medication.

  • @asti898 Actually, Art Therapy is proven to be extremely beneficial to children like this. No, they don't have control over their minds but, they still have emotions, regardless. I am studying Art Therapy right now at my university and I have learned that it is very beneficial to all different kinds of people. My professor did a lecture on kids like this recently. Art Therapy is beautiful-you should check it out more :)

  • Even the term "famous flip" is the flip of the normal personality with the beta personality, having entirely different emotions and memories and personalities.

  • A victim of monarch mind programming, a failed "beta" or "sex kitten" prototype. This is why her first aparition is of a cat named 400, in gematria 400 means "human vulnerability", and a cat is the persona they try to give infants being raised to someday be "sex kittens". Her soul, or her true self, can tell the difference between the lie and the truth, thus she sees a cat, rather than believe she is one. Study Monarch Programming.

  • @Decadence161 call a hospital

  • This is extremely interesting!

  • I feel bad for Rebecca :(
