I think they are playing better than ever. Maybe some songs don't connect live the way they used to (we change as well, not just the band) while others have just got better. Sadly too young to have seen the 90's tours and missed out on Elevation but I can say this night was much better than the one at Twickenham 2005. So in no way on a slide.

please this wasn't a patch on the zoo tv shows of 92. i was at earls court and they were ten times the band they are today. i've not missed a tour since 86, and they have been on a slide since vertigo 05. there still good, but they were magical. gloria on the saturday at wembley stadium, on the joshua tree tour, bad at brixton acadamy on the unforgettable fire tour, until the end of the world at zooropa at rotterdam. but if you can see them indoors...

I still think Dublin Night # 3 is by far their best performance of Ultraviolet on this tour, but this is up there probably in the top 3 or 4. I like how Bono is twirling around on the mic at the end

I think a lot of the songs that were played in Dublin were up top with the best performances, The sound in London is not great, very bad echo. U2 still performed great doh.
