Lived in Bristol all my life. My father told me years ago that my grandfather helped design the Bristol VA TN sign. It's like any small city. Has it's good points and not so good points. But the only way I would leave it would be to go to a smaller community.
A great place 3 weekends out of the year for business owners and 1 weekend out of the year for music and art lovers that are not race fans. If you are not a music , art or Nascar lover..well..there is the Lake. I am just sayin...
My home town where the main street in town named State Street is half in VA and half in TN. The boundary is marked on the centerline of the street. The Paramount and Cameo Theaters is where I saw Saturday Movies for Coke Tops.
