That video clip shows the 2001 or 2002 Trockadero cast ( we just bought the DVD with that backstage footage on it). Jason Hadley works in the costume department at NYC Ballet these days and doesn't dance professionally any more. He was not only talented, but very cute both as a ballerina and as a cavalier! :-)

I wish there were more Trockadero DVDs on the market. I'd love to see some of the other ballets they've done over the years!

My lover Joe died of HIV/Aids in 1991 and his last few weeks were full of hilarious laughter because of Ballet Trocadero (we had film from a freind in the US)..even the nurses at St Georges were in stitches...my best best memories of a very painful time...Joe tears streaming down his face at the dying swan routine...he knew he was facing the same...beautiful moving and something the world should honour!!!

I watched guy named, probably Bobby? wearing Hanshin haori (exactly, "Happi")and was happy to know he was also a big fan of Hanshin!

Actually, Haori (or Happi) is very convenient when applying make-up foundation on upper back and chest then change cloths to tutu.
