@earthwindwaterjunky No I'm saying I don't trust him... They make carpenter pencils for a reason (pens skip, hence why he has to go over the line so vigorously).
I have been looking at DIY Solar Heaters for over 6 months now. This is by far the absolute best video for anyone to follow. Very easy step by step instructions with a very good audio you can understand. Great Job! Thank You, this is what YouTube is all about! Free Information For All!
personally, I wouldn't "square" the frame during the very first join, especially when in the end it will be attached to a factory -squared sheet of wood.
The material you are using is not designed to withstand the amount of heat you are going to generate with that amount of heat generating surface. I assume that you have run this design in various solar scenarios , in which case it would not be a problem
first of all that foam board is only rated for 190 degrees F. solar heaters can put out well over 200 degrees F causing it to ignite. just ask DOW chemical the makers of the board. you guys are putting people at risk with this.
man you could have done glue thing put the plywood and screwed them all in the first place...since your measurements seems to be perfect fit.

Nice tutorial. This is the 2nd year I've had mine up and it's important to note when making these, foil-backed insulation should be used.
Keep up the good work...
