LVMPD umarked Honda Accord driving code 3

I seen one of these in Brooklyn today. Pretty cool.

LVMPD uses almost any kind of car as unmarked vehicles! Most are for swat or narcotics but some are for patrol! I used to work on a lot of their vehicles! They also have street bikes ie. a gsxr1000 as an undercover vehicle!

@2007Escalade It's a visor light. When the visor is folded up, you can't see it from outside the car.

@XBOXNationTVHD That's the whole point. It's easier to catch criminals in vehicles that they don't think are police vehicles.

Sorry but what does "Code 3" mean? Does it mean "Emergency equipment on"?

Code 3 is a term used to say that lights and sirens are on. Technically this is not code 3 as there is no siren. If it were Code 2 then that means there is no emergency equipment being used.
