There is only one thing I disagree with, posting in an existing topic instead of making a new one. If the existing topic isn't too old, then yes, it is. But if the topic is like 2 years old, and you post in it, you will get flamed (and - karma/rep if the forum you post on has it) for necro posting. But not all forums are the same, so it's hard to say for sure.

But I reckon people are far too easily agitated by necro.
