Hey! Thanks for showing this!

A quick question... I have a Dancing Exam on this dance in two weeks, i know all the steps well and remember them, my posture is okay - BUT!... My teacher keeps telling me to smile and its so hard when im concentrating, also i cant smile with my mouth closed because whenever I am 2/3 through the dance I always run out of breath and then I have to wear a really fake smile!

- Got any tips for me! - Please help! :D

@maddiek123 - I've never managed to smile either! It just seems impossible when your trying to concentrate & trying to breath at the same time! lol. I guess as long as you dont look miserable then thats good enough I would think...I dont think I've ever seen a dancer manage to smile all the way through a dance :D

@maddiek123 Do you dance to have fun or dance to pass an exam? Try to have fun when you're doing it, and the smile will come naturally. I tend to have a concentrated look while practicing, but smile at the end when I get it right. Good luck!

wow! Great timing and crossed feet. Your very good at the blackbird. For the beginning of mine instead of going tip down rally front two it goes tip down rally and then it goes to the side not to the front

@glorious83 i needed it for the next feis, so i just kept watching you! we learned the step and then we never had time in class for trad. sets. now a few feiseanna are coming up and we are working on them. i havent done my saint pat's day for forever since we were working on our blackbird and that wasnt pretty at practice! thanks again

You're good. Why did you stop? I'm 26 and I started dancing in January. I don't look my age either. I look like I'm 17. Anyway, its the best thing that ever happened to me. It makes me so happy.

@LCMS343 I'll be 26 in February, myself, and I took lessons in Irish dance on and off in my youth; I hate the fact I never stuck with it, although, when I reached my early twenties, my leaving was kindof out of my hands. Now i'm starting again on Saturday the 8th, and that day can't come quickly enough. I started crying when he told me he'd do it for me; I miss it so much, and it makes me super duper happy, too. Glorious83, you're really good! :D Thanks for sharing this. :D
