  • it sounds like the scorponok from transformers ... anyways this guy is awsome

  • YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

  • Why are you skipping a chord? Or haven't I watched enough of the video yet?

  • Well done, I like it :) Im learning it in A Minor, and honestly, I find that it in A Minor sounds better, Sorry! Kudos for the video though, and it still sounds nice

  • ok...potresti fare un video dove dici le note perchè così non si capisce molto bene...grazie ciao!

  • you are so fcking awesome!!!

  • haha which one is the real chords? dm ,f,c or am, c,g,d

  • Yes, i play the piano and the trumpet..... I'm composing things to!! For orchestra (with violins etc., and blewinstruments..)

What country are you actually from?

  • Your ear out of tune, how did you do that:P hehe..... do you also compose things?

  • yes, i composed several piano tracks, but i never put something on the tube! do you play something?

  • Sorrysorry but when you listen good to: "Once upon a time in africa", you will get the key a-minor... the melody starts on a C.... The chords are: Am, C, G, D......

  • You are right, but my ear is out of tune :)

  • thnx dude nice tutorial

  • Madagascar 2 "Once upon a time in africa" is actually played in "a minor". The first is "d minor". The tutor did a good job; but there's actually one more chord after "Dm, F, C"--it's G.

The correct notes for the right had should be:

    "FDD/FDD/FG/AFF/AFF/AF/GEE/GEE/FE/DBB/DBB/DE/"repeat".

  • ? confused

  • in this video he played the chords in order:

    D minor, F major, then C major.

BUT after C major, there's a G major (to conclude the song)

  • great vid

what program did u make for the video

    coz its realy cool

  • Yay! I figured it out on piano and flute! Gah, I love this song. Thanks for the video!

  • cant see cuz ur hands in the way for the right hand

  • do you know how to play the main theme from the movie

  • The song called ,,Alex on the sopt''

  • where do you have the intro song and the outro song from? Can I find it on YouTube?

  • Great song and great teaching.

Can you teach the other part of the song where the notes go higher?

    Than you.

  • Brilliant Love the film, love this song Going to try and learn it now! Thankyou :D

  • wow! i dun know how to play the piano but useful info!

  • The song which you included in the intro is actually in A minor

  • nice but it was a bit hard to know what notes you where playing

  • You did forget the G chord

  • There are some parts in the song that the melody stop in the chorus to have some longer duration notes. What do you do there? Just push a few of the already pushed notes?

  • ty!

  • of course not, it's a joke! ^_^

  • hi... instead of just FDDFDDFGAFFAFFAFGEEGEE...

    For more experienced... Try... FADFADFGACFACFAFGCEGCEFEDGBDDGBD...

    D Minor, F, C, G Naturalised.

    And the bassline... D F C G

  • :O nice but you don't have the sheed music???

  • I love this song! I thik that it is the best... your tutorial is done well, but could you help me for the rest of the music...I can't find a tutorial as good as this, if you found the score could you do a new tutorial for the rest of the music please?? However you are awesome!!

  • the name of the song is Zoosters Breakout

  • Yes, of course, it's the theme of the first movie.

  • do you know were i can download or buy the song on the internett?

  • You can buy the Madagascar Ost pratically everywhere! Bye.

  • So easy, yet it sounds so good!

  • Thank you! :)

  • Thank you VERY MUCH!!!!!

  • You're Welcome!

  • this is cool, i accutally took the time to practice this, and i can play it now x] thanks!

  • You're welcome!

  • actually... you are wrong

    the last chord is G

  • thank you for the suggestion, I will fix it for the next tutorial!

  • It's not all D what Hans Zimmer does. In Madagascar 2 he had composed the theme in Am ;).

But the 4th chord is not Dm but G. Listen to the track Zoosters Breakout in 0:07. So that makes Dm F C G.

  • Thank you! In fact, "Iris and Jasper" from "The Holiday" is in Am too!

Also thank you for the chord suggestion!

    Bye!

  • Can someone mssg me and tell me whos this is by and what its called?? cause all i get is madagascar 2 things =[[[

  • It's from Madagascar, which is probably why...

If you mean what it's from before Madagascar: it's an original composure by Hans Zimmer.

  • alright thanks ;D

  • You are welcome! :)

  • ey what instrument r u playing on the piano? :)

  • The strings, and in the beginning i put the original zimmer track over my piano footage!

  • Waow Rly good i love madagascar 2 thx for the tut
