Most people treat the present moment as if it were an obstacle that they need to overcome. Since the present moment is Life itself, it is an insane way to live.
We have an education system that discards an entire hemispheric polarity. It focuses on left brain attributes of memorization of facts and figures pertinent to an agenda. The right brain, where intuition, creativity and cosmic connection can be established is ignored and it's attributes denigrated.
But that's where history has been made.
The left brain culture in dominance. The right brain culture (earth culture BTW) trashed. Hence destruction due to cerebral and spiritual imbalance.
The right brain is the zone of intuition, creativity, the doorway through which we acess the spiritworld or as Australian Indigenous people call it, the dreamtime. There's alot for those of us who were raised in the left brained paradigm that we can read. Plenty of Native authors etc. And right now even the scientific people are beginning to realize just how magical humanity can be when in touch with both polarities.

We can ground through the feeling of gratitude. You can do it wherever you are. You can do it for every instance. You allow the feeling to flow through you and into the ground beneath your feet. In practice it creates an intense feeling of connection to the Earth and as different as it may seem to you, she sends back a recognition of your gratitude that stays with you in every step. Then...remember that every critter, every green thing that you see is in you and you are in them.
The question always arises as to why all of the destruction has happened and continues. The surface reason is of course, money and greed. But the deeper reason has historical roots that led to an incrediable polarization that set the technological against the organic. This has been in large part a culturing process that led to a division that narrowed thought processes down to a very specific area of the brain. The left brain. Cont'd
