i have a 1999 porsche 996 with 74000 on it and it drives like dream no issues great for the track or twisty roads very fun to drive way more reliable than a ferrari that need 10 and 20 thousand dollar serviceings but i love ferrari to!!
This is the highest mileage that I have seen yet on a 996 (assuming this is miles not KM) as all the 996 motors are grenading as a result of the substandard piston sleeving and lower main bearings failing. What a joke. My engine took a shit at 21k miles and cost $15k to replace. Porsche wanted nothing to do with it. Ferrari are way more reliable. Never thought I would say that. Lovely car to drive but reliability sucks. My 06 MB CLS was just as bad in reliability. German cars suck!!
