  • I read the hunger games to this and now it will forever remind my of those amazing books

  • This is what i've been looking for.

  • This sounds like a song from the game Spore.

  • @Rexgamer You're right! Brian Eno - the guy who wrote this song, composed the music for Spore.

  • Thank you for this!! It's great music to study by

  • 30 people don't like this? Perhaps it's the government.

  • 2012

  • Chill.

  • I like walking around the airports people watching. I find I am the center of much attention when passing through. A friend told me I have that effect on a room. It's a double edged sword.

  • could have done with this when i was in girona airport after a mad hungover acid trip running about the nou camp in barcelona... madness!

  • sjesus, boring as hell. what is what

  • @G4hal1jumping You're too mentally impotent to find a personal resonance with this and so Go Fuck Yourself

  • studying for final and i've been listening to this all day fuck my life kill me right now minecraft fuckers!

  • @corol33 Ahhh, sounds like procrastination... I know that feeling far too often...

  • Anybody notice that when you hit replay, there's a split second of an illusion that shows?..

  • @Markerece because for the last 30seconds or so there is in fact...an illusion my good man

  • @Markerece Someone's been hitting the pipe :n

  • this sounds like minecraft music...

  • my flatmate put this song on I fell asleep by accident, it was so peaceful <3

  • You even have the lyrics onscreen!

  • Great Music! :)

    SEARCH for...

KubikSahara - Feed The Crazy (part 2) !!! thanks.

  • watch?v=g6YoIkNJNmw

  • Being in a crowded place listening to this song is like opening a door to the overall human experience.

  • 1. Seach for the video "RainyMood" on YouTube.

    2. Play it along with this track.

    3. Enjoy.

  • @gombost also works well with any song from Burial

  • @nineball87 Agreed. Good to see a fellow Burial fan :}

  • @nineball87 good to see many people here have a taste in music ;)

  • @nineball87 haha was thinking the same a few days back, and then I realized Burial actually has a raining sound on a few of his tracks

  • @gombost yes yes yes

  • @gombost that just makes the whole experience very cheesy

  • watch?v=gnznV0WNOMg ambient music i made

  • 2010

  • One of the greatest ambient tracks of all time. simple. beautiful. perfection

  • FOREVER

  • amphetamines.

  • I never been in an airport. ;_;

  • This music is perfect for studying and getting into the 'zone'

  • @hangsubuh Agreed.

  • @hangsubuh haha, that's exactly what i was doing when i clicked on this video! :P It's really good concentration music actually

  • I Dig It Completely.

  • I first heard this in the UFO museum in Roswell New Mexico, been liking brians works ever since

  • Amazing how this track manages to compress time, it feels nothing like 10 minutes.

  • Listening to this is like watching every happy ending from every film you have ever seen, in ten minutes. It makes everywhere you are seem happy

  • Our music teacher brought us a CD of Brian Eno's "Music For Airports" and made us all close our eyes. It didn't take us more than 5 minutes to fall asleep.

  • @LouisTheNegroid Yeah, it is. His solo work is much much better imo :)

  • @LouisTheNegroid Yes, he is. He worked on multiple Colplay albums.

  • Those were the fastest 10 minutes and 51 seconds of my life.

  • This is good for doing homework, I'm finding

  • airports are by far my favorite places. I don't know why but I like just being in them, each one is alway different

  • @thesimer2 I think it's the closest thing to purgatory there is in Earth. You can be coming and going, and everyone is completely faceless. Like there's total harmony - I wonder if he tried to capture that.

  • @thesimer2 me too I thought I was the only one. Everyone always thought I was weird for it but I always thought the airports were the most exciting part of the vacation

  • @thesimer2 Excellent! Im not the only one!!! :D

  • “The soul wills, the soul wants itself in this experience but it wants itself in another rather than in its own particularity. In [someone else's] presence it therefore surrenders itself in order to find & enjoy itself in her/him. This surrender of love...purged of desire and at peace in itself...It is a dying to the world, a withdrawal into a sphere where consciousness & enjoyment of life is possible without yearning & desire..it is.an inclination rather toward death than toward life`` -Hegel

  • Anyone else using this for studying ? :)

  • Wow, this song doesn't feel like 10 minuets long at all. It felt more like 3. :P

  • it is briliant. who else would compose music for airports. it gives a real emotion.

  • this is cool.

  • This song... this fucking song man...

  • love the ambient soundscape , see my open playlist open to all,

  • im doing homework to this. it makes you feel so much better and more motivated to do it, its amazing

  • Great music to play minecraft to

  • Airports are stressful places, this track chills. All power to Eno.

  • Hey guys. Maybe you can check out my own ambient/chillout track, featuring an electric guitar.

    /watch?v=Xev2GWoz8G0

    Thanks in advance

  • I would welcome this music on any wait in any airport!Perhaps the T.S.A. lowlifes would calm down just a bit!

  • minecraft flashback

  • brian eno said that ambient is the kind of music you can hear with interest or put it on the background. Ambiental comes from latin word ,, ambier'' wich means to surrender

  • So peacefull.. :))

  • The kind of airport "music" I can think of is CNN Airport News blaring on the monitors in the departure lounges and "PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY UNATTENDED BAGS...." and the classic "WE'D LIKE TO BEGIN OUR PRE-BOARDING PROCESS......"

  • The piano riff instantly made me think of "Row" off the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind soundtrack :D.

  • makes me feel like i'm in an aquarium.

  • very nice music

  • Loved this. was listning to it before a stressful pressentation, made all the difference.

  • I felt THAT relaxed while listening to this that I had my eyes going crazy at anything in my desk. My eyes finally landed on my Grey's Anatomy book, and then I started to feel guilty about procrastinating and started studying. Damn you Brian Eno, your music makes me less lazy!

  • 449,383? Weird. Why is it only counting my views?

  • Love this album!!! One of my favorite albums of all time!!! :)

  • So so beautiful.

  • This just makes me have to SHIT.

  • Listening to this while doing any of my homework makes things so much easier & makes concentrating easier as well.

  • Reminds me of this Namco Museum game I had as a kid. You were Pac-Man and would walk through this museum to find the different games to play. I remember there being music like this playing in the museum.

  • @Nescitur playstation 1? from like ten years ago? YES I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN! this song would fit so well

  • @nineball87 Yes for playstation 1. I'm surprised anyone would know what I was talking about. haha

  • @Nescitur i had the second volume. The cd was black and had cool ambient music and had a layout of that of a museam. The current ones look like arcades which arent as cool. Because yo dont see all the history and stuff. As well as the extras. I played alot of video games as a kid

  • @nineball87 Yep, same here. I was Pac-Man (I think) running around in a museum. I played quite a bit as well. That's all there really was to do back then.

  • @Nescitur um, sure. not everyone is 11 years old.

  • @loknloll Go away.

  • @Nescitur Random, indeed!

  • @Nescitur i love games like that , any chance of an upload ? reply here if you do thankyou

  • @Nescitur Aww I remember that too! You're bringing back such memories of nostalgia!

  • @Nescitur I know that game. :]

  • @Nescitur Oh man I loved that game. It did have a relaxing sort of melancholy feel to it like the developers were saying, "This is the last time these games will be played. You must feel how spiritual it is." As a kid I thought it was stupid, but I kind of get it now.

  • listening to this while learning Python 3.0 programming language. Helps.

  • You have to listen to this like you have all of the time in the world. It's not an "in and out," instant gratification kind of song you hear in the pop music world(no hate). The song is going to sound different every time because the environment you are in will fill those moments of composed silence. The song is just as much as what is left out, as what was left in.

  • I LOVE THESE SONGS!!!!:DDDDDDD<33333333333333

    THANKS FOR UPLOADING!!!!:DDDDDDD<3333333333333333333333333333333333333333

  • I write (pretty shit) poetry to this (:

  • @EmilyStation1994 That is such a cute comment! I am sure your poetry is better than you believe. :)

  • @ugforthewin LOL thanks :D and i'd like to believe so!

  • @EmilyStation1994 Do you share it online? I'll send a link to something I wrote recently x

  • <3

  • Decordova Museum in Lincoln, MA is AMAZING in a word. An ever changing kaleidoscope of thought provoking artwork and sculpture. An amazing place to be when yer stoned!

  • @ricsdelivers great place. Did you carve your name in one of the(climbing) trees by the entrance?

  • he has "music for airports" and "music for films"... perhaps he should have "music for listening" ?

  • half 2 in the morning. probably the perfect time to listen to brian eno.

  • The music was intended to relax people before boarding a flight. Eno studied the psychology of these types of tones and created this recording.

And stacking the number of pages with a new window while starting each recording basically gives you a new piece each time since you cannot usually randomly start them with the same interval.

  • @wreyoG wedding. funeral. same thing. Anyway, best ambient track ever here? I vote yes.

  • Comment removed

  • @NorthernMars to bad your not married, then you'd get two votes. :)

  • This is my Ambien

  • Start this music and then keep opening new windows until you get 7 or more of the song playing at the same time from different starting points.

    Very nice.

  • @Davidfromcali1 amazing!

  • When this came on soundscapes i looked it up online and listening to both playing slightly off from one another is truly a surreal experience....really fun!

  • Sorry to bother but I have alot of new mixes up and id like you guys to check them out. thank you and enjoy this tune. ohyea great music to study by

  • Listen to this everyday at work.

  • This takes me back to the 80's, quite rainy Saturday mornings, enjoying the instant peace it provided. Twisting up a fattie and laying low, waiting to ramp up for the Saturday night chaos, drifting seamlessly into Sunday...

  • No wonder airports are such great places to fall asleep in

  • @lebocharp photography is nice too. watching the sunrise at 6am or boarding for a redeye flight

  • This reminds me more of being in an art gallery.

  • @michaelferns88 check out the decordova art museam

  • @michaelferns88 Airports are art galleries. You have the machines. Those wonderful machines that spend half their existence in the air filled with people. You have people leaving with all the implications, and people arriving with all the implications. You have the fear and dread of airport security, and the hopefulness of what is to be had as a journey is about to begin. You also have the relief that a journey has come to an end. Airports are amazing places.

  • @AndrewTubbiolo thanks this is helpful, a good way to reframe perspective and redefine ones relationship to the circumstances

  • @AndrewTubbiolo Indeed !.

A bit like Hospitals, very transient.

Well i feel calmed enough for air travel now.

But i don't want to board that Delta flight.

The planes noise is twitching at me. :-P

  • @thevisitortjn2 Don't let an airplane scare you. I'm sure you know they are safer than crossing the streets. That engine noise is like the white noise a baby hears in the womb of mother. Look up the flying videos of Homer3152. He chronicles a odyssey of another sort.

  • @AndrewTubbiolo Yes.

I was really having a laugh about the video effect at the beginning of the vid, the bit where the Delta planes noise was 'twitching'.

Gotta run and watch "Air Crash Investigation" on Nat Geo. ;-)

  • @AndrewTubbiolo Could not have said it better myself. I love airports and traveling. Its magical.

  • @AndrewTubbiolo igree. airports are hope. never now if you´re coming or going. in between. rain outside. anonimous tears. left behind.

  • @AndrewTubbiolo ~ lovely thoughts, lovely words :)

  • fags

  • @hurricanepattt thank you broseph ;) top or bottom?

  • this is amazing so pretty! you guys should check out Rems Floating Chandelier:)

  • I wish I was in an abandoned warehouse listening to this while stroking a buffalo on it's neck and a flamingo eating my hair. Great track.

  • @foohuguguy buffalo tastes good and flamingos make good lawn ornaments

  • @MessersmithWill That's quite a reaction.

  • @firetruckgreen Why thank you, sir.

  • So gonna listen to this during my flight. Yes indeed.

  • i diddnt cheat on you or any thing ... i just did E with wiley and hippy joni

  • I was never a fan until now, I love this!!!

  • soothing

  • Sawadi Cap, Ladies and Gentleman, Welcome to board on the Star alliance member, Thai Airways. Our flight is inbound for Bangkok suvarnabhumi airport from Seoul Incheon Airport. Our estimate flight Time is 4 hour and 15 minutes. Weather of Bangkok is rainy. fasten your seatbelt and make your table in right position untill seatbelt sign is turnd off. Again, Thank you for flying with Thai, Airways, Hap Kum kap.

  • Man, I just wanna sit down with a piano and play now. Probably in a verandah house, with a glass of wine and nothing in the room but a snoozing cat and a clock. Freaking wow...so mellow and calming.

  • i want this played at my funeral...

  • @wreyoG i wan tthi splayed at my wedding

  • Thank you! I really enjoyed that and will be listening to this later on when it is time to sleep. I'm sure the images used between 1:00 and 10:00 were lovely but I took the opportunity to close my eyes. If you had inserted an image of a cow wearing a hat in the middle of this for five seconds, I wonder how many of the 402,477 people who have played this video would have noticed it.

Go on. You know you want to!

  • i love this tracks under ketamine :P

  • Wasn't this on an Adult Swim commercial?

  • This helps me fall asleep at night. Thank you Brian eno!!!!

  • anyone who dislikes such a beautiful piece of music for WHATEVER reason...should just be shot n the back of the head ....execution style. Sounds harsh I know but...Do we reeeeally NEED those people??

  • @Tarbash7

sounds like we need you a lot less

  • Comment removed

  • @albydaniels nicely put, albydaniels. some people's anger is just downright scary.

  • Nice. Functional New Age...soothing and appropriate before flying - cross between incidental movie/mood music and Avant Post Modern meditation.

  • Cold, rainy November night, I stood outside my car. Her cute, puzzled face wondering through RDU, she caught my eyes and I could swear time stopped. Standing there in her skinny black coat, she starts to smile. I tremble and try to contain my smile but awkwardly start to laugh at the moment. It's so cliche.... But times like this keep me sane. - Indulge in these moments, be thankful for everything.

  • Reminds me of LOST.

  • I'm away to the airport in 5 hours to go to Rome. This is definitely going on my iPod to listen to while in the waiting/departure lounges.

  • 24 people were on coke or have add

  • Sitting at an airport pickup area bench waiting for your long lost beloved to finally return to you

  • Kinda reminds me of Spore! Good all the same though.

  • This was the music that was played at the beginning of The Experience Weekend. It was sublime. One of Rob Eichberg's favourite pieces. I will always remember the magic of those Weekends. Thanks.

  • Why is this not compulsory at airports? I can only speculate that it's because people would never leave.

  • Love it!

  • I wouldn't even board my flight if this music played at an airport haha I'd gladly sit around drifting off on an astral plane (that was bad I know! lol)

  • @bossofalltime

    Badum tish.

  • Comment removed

  • These days, a loud fart will shut down an airport.

  • I heard that brian eno stated that his music is supposed to make you not worry about death, so an airport seemed like an appropriate place to play this music.

  • @unpuercofeo Well considering your 35,000 feet in the air in a air compressed cabin with just a bit of metal holding you up, I would say it is appropriate.

  • If you like this, check out Tim Hecker and Aix Em Klemm.

  • i got so many good, old and warm memories from this song, it's like a good movie, wine or story which can be all time repeated. i wish everybody can find this kind of salvation like me when i discovered this gem

  • Wow, this is amazing. I Googled best music to study to and this is what came up. I'm studying philosophy to this right now = AWESOME.

  • @trodri7LSU If you like this check out Brian Eno - an Ending

  • @trodri7LSU that rocks! i literally haven't studied anything in a year and needed something and thought of this. I concur :)

  • @trodri7LSU Neroli is even better for working to I think

  • @trodri7LSU i study engineering and design. it really helps
