We all know that Street Fighter 4 is nothing but an EX rip off. The EX series was awesome. Combos took planning execution and skill to pull off and the boss wasnt a joke. Seth is the lamest excuse for a boss in a fighting game since ole moo cow (Bison) in SF2 Champ Edition back on Genesis. In the EX series if you were good you fought against Bison with his awesome Irreconcilably theme. If you were awesome like friggin awesome like chanwa1522 you fought Shin Akuma and what fun that was! SFEX>SF4
I continually laugh at the people who say this game sucks. It's actually HARDER to play that Ease fighter 4 and Super Ease fighter 4. It makes you tighten up your execution, while the afore mentioned games make you use shortcuts to get combos out. While the EX series wasn't perfect, it was still beastly. Also, a funny thing....I could hang with the Alpha cats (because I played streetfighter in general) They couldn't hang in EX. They got scraped. This series was great.
@chanwa1522 No problem. There were so many things to enjoy about this game. (Granted, it's not perfect, lol.) The other thing was the character variety. The shotos in this game actually felt different. Plus, there were characters like C. Jack, Blair, Hokuto, Skullomania and many other throughout the series that were so much fun and unique. Plus the Cycloids and Darun were pre-cursor to Seth/Hakkan. Focus attacks worked differently, as well, too. Also, nice fight.
@chanwa1522 I agree with both of you. The original street fighters were good due to their simplicity...but the EX series were awesome as well due to their combos and timing techniques.
It just depends on what character you are using to beat seth, c viper is the worst overall character against seth, it will take 20 tries to beat him, just use fireballs with projectile style characters but dont spam too much, and dont get too close to seth, he will piledrive you to hell.
remember, my strategy may be useful, give it a try and dont give up. also, one more thing, when seth has his ultra meter armed and ready just use normal attacks with fast recovery, and start blocking when seth uses his ultra, when you blocked it, attack him with all you got for a few seconds.
