  • does kb still offer a 2.2l? and could you run that on a stock engine if you keep the boost down?

  • yea way to represent Ne!!!

  • awesome freakin car, hope my car can keep up one day...also what is the name of the first song?

  • @xxSkyxStrifexx I believe the song is Colors by Crossfade

  • It's all very simple really... get a forged shortblock and put a turbo on it... make some reliable bitchin horsepower...

  • logan sheetmetal intakes are weird. haha

  • Lol and you don't put a twin screw supercharger on shit unless its forged lol or it go boom u break over 400 rwhp on any stock unforged mustang block ur livin on borrowed time

  • Haha its to bad that won't be enough lol hahahahahahahahaha

  • BTW what mods did you have to make that much hp with a 2.2

  • OMG that turbo is smokin with that sheetmetal inatke, But are you sayin i couldnt get a kb 2.6 IC set at 9psi on stock bottom end, thats what i wanna do, so once i get a good shortblock my car will be almost as bad as yours was with the KB on it.

BTW 1000hp 2v, that well be bad the fuck ass

  • ya idk I want to keep it a 4.6L. So i don't really want to forge the bottom end. And ya the Big Bore Kenne Ball is badass! But they require forging of the pistons. so idk. I figure heads and cams with about everything else ignition and pullies and all would do it. and nitrous

  • ya good point. i was thinkin stock pistons and all. with Stage 3 heads and cams. then a Kenne bell S/c that comes with the intake, then a 75mm T/b and the get a custom intake. then 3.90 gears with shift kit. Alm. drive shaft, 31 spline, lower it, SLP FULL exhuast with LT ceramic headers, probably two 150 shot of NX. Build up the torque converter too. and a full suspenion. and apperence stuff. i want 550+RWHP for street

  • yeah if your going for 550rwhp your going to have to forged the bottom end. Forged the bottom end and get a centrifical s/c like a procharger and you can easily get 550rwhp. you will have the similar powerband as a turbo. if you get a kenne bell the torque is constant. your talking about a 2.1L. if i was to do a kenne bell i would do a 2.6L or buy a used 2.2L like i had and call modular powerhouse and get a kenne bell 2.8L customized for it. they make 2.2L's into 2.8L.

  • why would you do that? and it is bored at all? the block? b.c i am trying to get 550rwhp with a S/c and not boring of the block on the GT. i will do Patriot heads though.

  • you dont have to. Its 100% forged studded and girdled stock block bored .020 over just because. I have patriot stage 2's i ported a bit.

Reason for the turbo instead on s/c is because turbo is free HP while it takes power to run the s/c. plus turbo has no belt dust or shreds. plus im going for 1000hp. im going up to 25+psi. it was a kenne bell 2.2L.

  • Turbos are nasty out of the hole. dont get me wrong my KB2.2L was killer but i want more power. I spent 6,000 on the s/c just to hit its limits. I sold it for 4,000 and n20 for 1000 and built my own custom turbo kit with the best of everything and still broke even on the build. search fast intentions turbo 2v mustang and you will know why i did it.

  • So did you take out the S/C and put in a turbo? and what other bolt-on's do you have?

  • Yes s/c for turbo...........trust me i have to much to list. fully built etc. it wont let me go over 500 characters.

  • gay!!! hahaha j/k brett...now get that fucker done already haha

  • Wow Brett, not bad, I coulda done a better job! lol...It's nice to see that I made it in your vid..my foot snuck into a picture!
