yeah, i had to walk around a bit to keep the kite up... woulda flown better without the tail. used a hot awl to melt a quarter-inch hole in the trailng edge of the kite, then made a short (2 inches) tail with doubled kitesurf line tied with an overhand knot, girth-hitched that through the hole, and used a lark's head to attach the big tail to that. the attachment point stays on the kite, the big tail comes off in seconds. It's really fun in big winds!

I've always found it painful trying to fly a power kite in low winds. But the tail seems to give it a level of elegance.
I got one myself but I can't figure out where to connect it. How did you connect your tail up?
