I have a black long hair although he has just a tuft of white on his chest so he looks like he's wearing a tux, AND HE IS CUTEST THERE IS!!! His name is Bear because he's cute and cuddly like a teddy bear yet ferocious!

awwwwwwwww what a sweetie! I have the exact same looking one :) and I wanna ask, is she solid black, or does she have some gray fur deeper inside and on the tummy? coz mine does and i dont really like it :( is it natural for black persies or something wrong with mine? i give her vitamins and comb her everyday and the vet said that its natural for her, but i dont know if they know well about persians because when i bought her from them they actually recomanded me a brush instead of a comb... :/

@deoxyribose My sister has a persian, but unfortunatley had to put one of them down due to a cancerous tumor in his bladder. So very sad. ONE thing i will give you advice on. If you're going to get a kitten from a breeder, make sure it's a reputable breeder. We found out later that this persian we just put to sleep had so many complications due to inbreeding! Persians are majestic and very HIGH maintanace, yet totally docile and aristocratic in character. You'll love them to pieces! :)

@maharley27 Yea your right, but sometimes inbred puppies/kittens turn out okay, i know im gonna say a very irresponsible thing now but well my aunt when she was on holidays left her dogs (mother and a son) to her friends and the friend didnt know how to look after them so they uhm got inbred and it was too late to abort the puppies were checked and they are now about 2 years old and healthy.

I had a cat just like this from the time I was 10 until I was 23. :( I loved her as much as I do my kids. Me and my sister STILL fight over which one our kitty loved more. hehe
