Vocaloids are considered as perfect singers since they connect their notes so perfectly while Utau are just "Good" since they can't connect their notes without sounding robotic. That is by Miku's picture is more cleaned up than Teto's.

@DreamLogicful I think that this is a story of child-hood friends. Miku becomes popular and ignores Teto. Teto gives up on their friendship and moves on. Miku, realizing that her friend didn't wait for her, wishes to go back to their childhood. Teto wishes for the same thing, but they can't. So thus Miku wishes to ease the sadness she cause for Teto. At the end they won't forget each other but realize they have to move on with their life.

UTAU and Vocaloid are said to be "enemies" but since the programs UTAU uses aren't as professional and are cheaper than Vocaloid programs, Vocaloid has a better sound/voice quality than UTAU has.

I think that's why Teto's side looks rough and quick while Miku's looks more proffessional.
